The Secret Patient

Really enjoyed this book it’s easy to read, hard to put down and I couldn’t even guess the ending. Elizabeth is a journalist who gets a tip about The Secret Patient held in hospital and the letters CM.I’d recommend this book for teens and adults.

The plot of this novel was original but not believable. My biggest issue was the main character who lacked depth. The reader gets no feel for her personal life or her thoughts and dreams beyond solving the mystery at hand.

The writing was terrible. Unimaginative and like a high schooler wrote it for their creative writing assignment. Would not recommend

A detective story that draws in the reader. The characters were believable and I was shocked at the reasoning behind the story. Good story, good ending.

Although i usually stay away from mysteries, since most of them are about murders, this one intrigued me. Aside from some VERY unlikely and convenient coincidences that tied characters and incidences together, and a very few grammatical mistakes, this book was interesting, well written, and all in all, a page turner. I got the feeling that this is a new author trying their hand at writing professionally, (maybe their second or third written work?), but the author certainly has a natural gift and/or is an avid reader themselves. I would have liked to have known who the tipster in the beginning was. I would recommend this book to my friends.

Full of suspense but not burdened by tons of medical jargon. Many tangents made me wanting to read more & more. Not hard to believe that this could, indeed, happen. Already recommended to a few friends & relatives.

The suspense was amazing. Liked all the characters, including the bad guys. Wonder what happened to George.Looking forward to more.

This book is absurd filled with unplausible events. Sorry I read it.....
