Taggies Oodle Owl Baby Mat

My baby loves her Owly so much that I had to buy a second, and then a third, just in case! I don't even want to think what I might have to do if all three owlies need to go in the wash at the same time... Luckily they wash up fine!Absolutely a fantastic lovey for any kiddo, lots of bright, but not garish, colors, textures, plus super soft on one side, silky on the other. Keeps her busy when she's awake, very snuggly for when she's sleeping, and very soothing and comforting for car rides, doctor's visits, long stroller walks, etc.She has been sleeping with her Owly every nap and nighttime since she was 2 months old, and she just turned 1, and her face just lights up in the biggest grin as soon as she sees her Owly. I can definitely say that Taggies make great lovies and cute, engaging toys, and if your kiddo likes owls or you're doing an owl-themed nursery, this is the lovey to get! Just be sure to get a few spares ;)

My daughter saw this and begged for it as a replacement to her blankie. I told her I felt it was too small and too young and too much like a toy for it to be her nighttime blankie but when it was still on her list months later I caved and let her have it for her 5th birthday. I was impressed with the quality -- the stitching is tight, the colors are bright and everything is soft, no sharp, rough or pokey spots. The funny thing is that my 6 month old loves it as well, although she doesn't use it for sleeping. She will examine each tag in detail and it gives her a chance to practice pincher skills. So the blankie is serving double duty -- baby during the day and preschooler at night. Quite pleased!

This product is well made and looks good with the owl theme in my granddaughter's room. She is less than 2 months old so I'm not sure yet how she will like it. Most babies like to chew on tags so between the tabs and the little owl on top that is easy to grab, I hope it will be an enjoyable security blanket toy for her. She might not be impressed with the details, but as an adult I am very impressed with the quality of this product.

The blanket itself is pretty nice. It's super soft and not too large (it's not meant to be an actual blanket anyway). The tags are securely sewn on, so I feel confident giving it to my daughter. I'm kind of bummed that she isn't that into right now (she's almost 7 months)...she prefers the actual tag on this blanket as opposed to the sewn on ones. Oh well, I still highly recommend it.

When our LO was around 6 months old, we noticed that she loved flicking tags on her stuffed animals more than playing with the stuffed animals. And tags on everything else too. So I found this on Amazon and thought, that's genius, and then soon realized that there's actually a whole line. And for a little while there I thought our LO was a little weird for liking to flick tags! Ha!When I received this in the mail, I was super excited, and expecting our LO to LOVE this! It has so many tags that she can play with! And it's adorable. The owl on the top is cute and soft. The blanket itself is also really good quality and if I remember correctly, the other side of the blanket is satiny, just really cute little blanket.We gave it to our little one, she looked at it for one second and just tossed it to the side. We kept trying to give it to her several other times, but unsuccessful on all attempts. We kept it for a few days thinking she might change her mind... NOPE! Still didn't care for it at all.How ironic! Some friends joked that perhaps it was tags overload. Perhaps she got put off by all the tags and somehow knew that they were fake tags! LOL! Who knows!If your LO also likes to flick tags, by all means give this toy a try! It is super cute, I would play with it if I were a baby! Haha! And if it doesn't work out with your LO, just return it. Love Amazon for their free returns!

I really like the Taggies line of products and this one is no exception. It is soft on one side and satin-like on the other with tags/loops all the way around. The colors are bright and fairly true to the photos (depending on your computer I suppose?). I bought it for my granddaughter to have as a lovey, but she hasn't been born yet, so I can't say how much she loves it. But I'm guessing that she will be as crazy about it as I am. I have yet to see one in a store, so I am so glad that Amazon had them. I am considering buying the companion blanket as well. SO CUTE!

We actually bought this Taggie Owl Blanket as a back-up in case something happens to the original. This purchase was at the behest of my husband - since the Taggie Owl Blanket it is my daughter's absolute favorite toy. I received the original as a shower gift from my niece. I think I introduced it to my daughter when she was only a month-and-a-half. It was crazy - love at first sight, I swear! We couldn't believe her reaction! This has been her favorite toy ever since. At first she loved the feel of the fabric on her face. I suspect she also liked how easy it was to grab (it's not bulky, so it's not an overwhelming size for tiny hands and arms). Occasionally we'd find her sucking on Owlie's wing. Now that she has more dexterity, she checks out the individual features (his wings, nose, feet) and tags. The original Owlie is in excellent "like new" condition. I wash it in the washing machine inside a lingerie bag and hang it to dry. Back-up Owlie is still in a carefully labeled and located box just in case something happens to the original. I suspect this will be "that toy" out daughter loves well into her toddler years.

This is absolutely DARLING. Super duper soft. The baby it was purchased for has not been born yet so not sure if she likes the product or not but her mama was wild over it! Very beautiful bright colors and honestly, it was soothing to ME to rub the soft blanket! So glad I bought this! Great value as well-same price on eBay for USED ones!
