Finally, I can sleep
With arthritis and neuropathy I can't stand the weight of blankets on my lower legs and feet. This product has given me the relief I need. I use an adjustable bed that has a bar at the foot to stop mattress slipping. Many of the blanket lifters were too narrow to straddle this brace but, this one is 19" wide and fits easily. The assembly directions were a bit sparse but, it was easy to assemble regardless of them.Again, I highly recommend this product.

The most flimsy, unworkable device I have ever purchased.
The directions are less than adequate. What is the absolute worst part of this device is the black, plastic connectors. They do not connect; they do not tighten; and they do not function for their purpose. It is frustrating to purchase an item that is so obviously dysfunctional. This is going back.

It broke less than 3 months , I need a replacement !
It only lasted 3 months of light use. The ring that connects and tightens the tube cracked because it is so thin and flimsy. Too bad, I like the way it acts like a tent over my surgical feet but I can't use it because it is broken. I can't even find any email address or any way to contact the seller Zelen. I want to ask for a replacement. Seller, please contact me. Thank you.

Unable to Assemble
I think a previous customer had this. The 3 plastic connectors were all same size: fit part A but not part B. No way to connect.None of the 2 different types of screws were long enough.Useless printed instructions: pictures unclear, words inadequate.I hope they will not simply send the re-sealed box to another customer.Rather, supply the missing parts plus clearer instructions.

Easy to put together and install
Referring to the photos on Amazon, it was easy to put together and to install on my electric bed. The brace at the bottom (of electric bed) to hold the mattress in place while raising/lowering serves to hold the blanket raiser in place, as well. Works great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I'm also very impressed with the delivery service Amazon is using in my city. Very efficient!

Not worth the money
This blanket lifter came on time and quickly but I had to put it together with the cheap plastic connectors that didn't fit properly. Once together it was wobbly and often turned sideways. Not worth the money.

Good quality
I use this to keep the blankets off my knees, works well for this also.

works well once assembled
This was very useful after foot surgery to keep heavy bedcovers off of my feet. I found it hard to put together based on the instructions. Would help if the bars were 'numbered/labelled' to match the directions.Once together I did find it swings laterally a bit, but still woks. Feet will be warm if bedcovers come all the way over the support bars, back down to the mattress level

Cheap materials!
This blanket lifter is listed to be made of heavy duty steel in two places and alloy steel in one place on the sellers page. While it does hold a magnet it is not heavy duty steel as I could bend it with my bare hands. I know because one of the pieces was warped requiring me to bend it to put it together. The "black hoops" that make up the the adjustable joint are made of flimsy fragile plastic. I have no doubt they will shatter under to much tightening. The assembly "instructions" are extremely unclear images on one sheet, nothing is labeled. During assembly I had to bend the warped piece back to true and even then it was a struggle to get the screw through the hole was the was a slight twist to it.While screwing the nut onto one of the screws the cap of the nut simply popped off. The cap was very thin, as you can see in the included picture the screw was not even fully seated simply the pressure of the wrench holding it still and the screw twisting into it caused it to pop off. The second whole but is there for comparison. This type of product has great potential, it is a fantastic medical device, as long as it is made out of adequate materials. This has not. It is made out of cheap corner-cutting materials. When assembled properly and in very good condition it will do the job but the planned-obsolescence with the cheap materials means you will be replacing it soon. This is not worth the buying price. Find one from a manufacturer with scruples.
