Fantastic for Resource for Coaches
There is valuable information on every page of this book. After almost 20 years of coaching in the collegiate and professional levels, I have seen many challenging aspects of programs. This book is so informative in the approach of building a successful sports program and provides a very sound thought process to accomplish this task. The first book is loaded and I can't wait to see what's to come with the next installments.

All Football Coaches Should Read
All football coaches should have a copy of this book. It literally is a training manual for the modern football game week, player preparation, and how to create a Game Model for winning football games. I also suggest Game Changer by Fergus for the data-driven proof of these concepts in The Process. I can't wait for Part II-IV.

Excellent!
Excellent, well rounded book on the methods required to develop a winning team. Authors Fergus and Cam do a great job thoroughly explaining the principles of a winning model. In the book there are not only great examples and ideas that any team can take and implement, but also a systems based coaching approach to make sure everything is covered in preparing the team week to week. This was my favorite part. With player health being the most important aspect of athlete development its vital to have a thought out plan for progressing the players week to week between practice, training, film/study, and competition. In The Process, Fergus and Cam show you how!

Awesome read for all coaches (sport and strength)
This the exact type of book that helps all coaches in the high-performance model understand how to work towards the same goal. As one who works primarily as a strength coach, it really opened my eyes to sport coaching elements, and helped me to see the whole "process" of sport mastery from a 10,000 foot view.

Highly recommended- great read
I felt that this book did an excellent job of providing a clear overview about all of the different aspects of athlete development. The information in this book can provide any coach/ athlete at any level the ability to broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding of what it takes to develop team sport players.

Not what I was hoping for
Was really looking forward to reading this one. Unfortunately, for me, didn’t live up to the hype. A lot of repetition and basically common sense information.

Not what I expected....
The Game Changer was a £49.99 book, so I expected a product that was of similar quality; good graphic design, good quality paper and quality binding. The Process costs £40.95. So I expected the same. The book is half the size, paperback, and the inner quality is substantially below that of the Game Changer, rough paper and poor print quality. Even the outer cover is not great. So now let's look at the contents.I found the first book brilliant, great ideas and presented in fascinating ways. Very comprehensive. This book feels lacking. If this is meant to be the first coaching level in the methodology, then I would skip it and just use the original.I apologise to Dr Fergus Connolly because I really liked your first book so much so that I instantly purchased this one on the basis of how good Game Changers was.If this was in a ring binder and marketed as a coaching manual it might seem of higher value, as is, it misses the mark.In the pictures I show the comparison between first and second book. The inner quality and the back cover.
