Great Upgrade for Extra Storage
"I upgraded my Xbox 360 Slim with the HWAYO 320GB Internal HDD, and it has been a fantastic choice. The installation process was smooth and straightforward, and the extra 320GB of storage is perfect for all my games and downloadable content. The drive performs reliably without any lag or performance issues, and it runs quietly. It’s an excellent value for anyone looking to expand their Xbox 360’s storage. Highly recommended!"

Works well, extra steps needed for OG XB Backwards Compatibility
I needed this drive for two thing: 1. Additional storage for live games or extra disc content 2. Original OG Xbox backwards compatibility (some games run on 360 but not on xb1 or later, I.e. Outrun 2). I installed this and it worked for additional storage but still couldn’t get backwards compatibility working. I tried updating the system but still nothing. I learned that aftermarket hard drives lack a special partition 2 contents for backwards compatibility (software emulation) that oem drives have. Google: digiex Xbox 360 partition 2, xplorer 360 is the interface that reads the drive when connected to a pc (with proper sata usb connection). After this original Xbox compatible games loaded without issue. Thankful I didn’t have to get an older used OEM drive and could use this larger 500gb drive after the fix. Everything has been running solid for about 3 weeks so far. No complaints.

Missing Xbox Emulator, easy fix
When I bought this it was to play original Xbox games on my 360. The Emulator was missing but there was an easy fix if you connect the HDD to a PC, you can add in the missing files and works perfectly. The security sector is intact.

Consistent Hardware Failure Due to Use
I purchased the 500Gb Drive to utilize with an Xbox 360 we had here at our workplace. We had been utilizing this console for months, with no issues whatsoever, except we were constrained by memory limits all the time (never any software/hardware problems). I saw this product going for relatively cheap and decided to buy it for us. When I first installed it, it seemed to work fine. I was able to transfer the data we saved locally over to it and everything. When I started playing a game with it installed is when I noticed one of the first problems: the game was running sluggishly and keep freezing. Then out of nowhere if froze completely and I had to turn off the Xbox. Upon doing so, I noticed the console was UNREASONABLY hot, as if I had been playing it for hours on end rather than a half hour like I did. When I attempted to turn it back on, the Xbox lit up with a red dot and stated it had an error and could not start. I let the Xbox sit to cool off, thinking it was probably a cooling error, which was confirmed by a quick Google search. We had NEVER had this problem before and the only thing that had changed was the installation of the new drive. After giving it some time to cool down, I was able to successfully reset it. Only there was one problem: the Xbox was not showing any of my gamer profiles and could not find the Hard Drive in the Storage section. After shutting down the Xbox again, I attempted to pull out the Hard Drive; this itself took multiple tries, as even with the pull tab (that felt like it would rip off at any second), it would not seem to release from the console. After finally pulling it out, I reinstalled it, ensuring there was a snug fit, and booted the system back up. There was my data again! Once more though, after playing a different game for a short period, the Xbox would overheat, performance would suffer, it would freeze and force a restart, showing a hardware error. Sometimes after rebooting, the Xbox would read the Hard Drive as being installed, sometimes not. Way more pain than it is worth. I do not suggest purchasing this.
