The twin pack trailer hitch locks and pins set are well built and easy to install along with the rubber rings to take up the play in the length of the lock as well as reducing noise from rattling on 2024 RAM 1500 Longhorn Limited Edition. Great Value for the price
Needed a couple of new locking trailer hitch pins so after a quick search I came across these. One thing that I really liked was that they are keyed alike with a barrel style key. If you are like me and have at least one catch all key ring that holds more keys that you know of which goes where, then the barrel style keys do set those apart and make it easy to locate with a quick glance. They both lock very firm and tight.However, when first pulled out of the package it may be a good idea to add a drop or two of an all weather lubricant to keep things working smoothly. Other wise these can be on the tough side to remove the lock from the end of the pin shaft.One more thing to make note of, these are LONG PINS, much longer than needed for most all applications. This will allow the pin to move around and slide while in the receiver without a load to apply pressure to the pin. And a sliding pin is a rattle just waiting to happen. I wrapped a zip tie to he shaft to hold the pin from sliding around which has worked well.
