Love these footswitches!
For my application - these are the perfect thing! They are an On-Off switch, not a momentary - which works perfect for me. I've bought 4 of these now, and have replaced hand switches with these footswitches. They are very sturdy, well built, which is important when you're stomping on them with your foot. And reasonably priced too.

Foot control of a yard sprayer.
I installed the foot switch to operate a sprayer mounted on a lawn tractor. The switch works exactly as I wanted it to work. Now I am able to control the sprayer not using my hands. Thus freeing up my hands to guide and adjust the speed of the tractor as needed. I am very happy with this.

It is surprisingly hard to find a good quality, durable, metal on/off foot switch. Most use 'momentary' switches (which require you to hold the pedal down to keep the tool running), but this one is a traditional on/off switch that requires one click (stomp/release) to start (and tool continues running), and the second click (stomp/release), cuts the power... much like how a light switch works. Love it. Daily use now for about 6 months. Excellent build quality... should last for many years.
