We purchased the 12" model first and were immediately impressed by the overall quality of the pan itself. Very well made, just the right amount of weight along with excellent balance. The included vented glass and stainless steel lid is equally impressive and fits the pan like a glove. We are using these pans on our (4 Burner) BlueStar restaurant grade gas stove top which can put out more than double the BTUs of your typical consumer/home grade stove top, so durability and heat handling was of paramount concern to us. The bulk of our other cookware is composed of various stainless steel pots and pans made by All-Clad, so we know what quality cookware looks and cooks like. The 12" pan proved to be a wonder in our kitchen and despite exposure to high heat on a regular basis, has held up great over these many months. The pan remains perfectly flat and well balanced with no signs of warping or deformation. The non-stick surface was more than impressive! In fact, food items such as frozen hamburger patties slide around so easily that simply tilting the pan at a slight angle results in the patty sliding to the other side of the pan! Clean up is a breeze! No need to bother with the dishwasher! Simply run hot water over the dirty cooking surface for 30-60 seconds and wipe clean with a lightly soaped kitchen sponge. Even normally tough to clean ingredients like melted cheese and heavily browned hamburger fat slides right out with little to no effort. Night and day compared to a normal stainless steel pan's cleanup after frying up multiple cheese burgers! Simply giving a product a 5 STAR review doesn't back up an opinion as much as putting our money where our mouth is! That comes with our recent purchase of both the 8" and 10" models of this series along with their companion glass lids! That was our buying choice after using the 12" model every single day, several times per day for the last 5 months. If a piece of cookware can hold up to daily use on high output, professional grade gas burners and retain both its original shape/dimensions as well as its non-stick surface, there isn't higher praise than that! My only complaint is that only the 12" model comes with the vented glass lid included. We had to purchase the 8" and 10" lids from TechChef as separate purchases, which added to the total cost. But considering the value of these excellent pans at MSRP, it is hard to complain too much about the total cost. All three combined was still cheaper than just one of our All-Clad stainless steel saute pans! ;o)

I've used this pan for just under 2 years of regular (3-4 day a week) use and mostly hand washing with occasional dishwasher. This is my second purchase of the CerraTerra 12" and it's pretty consistent. Occasional re-seasoning with oil and med-high heat helps to keep it slick. It is starting to wear and I have to re-season more often to keep the ceramic slick. The coating around the rim does chip pretty quickly with lid use so that is something to watch for. Doesn't seem to affect the rest of the pan much. The pan itself is a good weight and heats evenly on an induction cooktop. The handle is extra nice and I can easily transition from cooktop to oven or broiler to finish dishes. If washed right away, it cleans up very quickly and easily. Note: Techef has a free replacement program if you've used it for over 2 years. Send a picture and a receipt and they will give you a code to use on their website. (US only) This policy earns them plenty of points from me. Without this program I would probably charge them a star, as the pan is wearing noticeably after 2 years, which is pretty rough for a $50 pan, but I do use it a lot.

I love Techef products, so I have several frying pans, burners, scissors, etc., and I bought them without any hesitation, but this one was non-stick from the first time I used it. It sticks more than the stainless steel frying pan I'm using.

Well-constructed pan. It had one small nick in the ceramic coating by the rivet when it was received. It worked well for 6 months. (Pan is used 5 - 6 times a week) The non-stick feature began to dimmish after 6 months. Now it is at the one-year mark and sticking is a regular issue and I have noticed small nicks through-out the pans surface
