My last on lasted 20 years
I bought this saw to replace my 20 year old QEP saw, that finally quit working. As a professional tile installer, used it ALOT. Perfect for backsplashes. Set it right where you're working and not worry about making a mess with spray. Thus new version of my old saw, should easily last until I retire. Do yourself a favor and let the Black Widow blade, it cuts way better than stock blade and lasts longer.

Great for small jobs
My big, expensive wet saw finally gave out as I was starting another project. Since I was using small 3 x 6 subways, I decided to give this one to try. It takes a little patience and a small learning curve, but for the price I was actually very happy and had no problem finishing up the job with this saw, was even able to make some pretty tricky cuts. Cleans up and stores very easily.

Garbage product, needs to be delisted
1st saw cut through 1/2 a tile before it stopped working. Bought a 2nd one thinking it was a fluke (it wasn’t) - the second saw immediately started smoking the first time it was turned on. QEP customer service never got back to me about the warranty claim, so fortunately amazon still gave a refund.

Easy to use for DIY Projects
Not a bad tile cutter for a small DIY project. Gets the job done.

Amazing for the price
You've heard the old master's saying, when you know a lot, you don't need a lot? This saw proves it. Not as fast/accurate/comfortable/practical as the pro saw? I can get this thing to do damned near ANYTHING I need. If you're willing to think your cut through, and be a bit patient, i suspect you'll be able to make it do everything you need, too. I really enjoyed using this saw, PARTICULARLY as it's inexpensive, and doesn't weigh a ton. Incidentally, one job was ceramic 30x30cm tile, the other was marble, also 30x30. To me, it's a keeper. If you need bells and whistles, maybe not right for you. Keep in mind, the smart people built pyramids with less tech than this. So... let's not blame tools for our shortcomings ;-)

Fence hard to square.
Cut porcelain shower tile fine, but could not get fence square to the blade. Had to eyeball it, which allowed things down a lot. Pull out extension also wasn’t sturdy, had to shim up the tile. Blade lasted 80 sq ft at least!

Decent saw
I bought a different blade since I was cutting glass, so I can’t attest to the blade it comes with. Overall, I am pleased as I was able to complete my project. It cut well, although much messier than expected. Pretty good for small projects.

Litterally turned it on and it started smoking and immediately stopped working.

Guide is hard to install in perfect alignment with other side. Sometimes need to readjust and cut again. Once correctly placed, cut is perfect, event for small pieces. Careful with your fingers as the blade is very close for small tiles.

Worked well, wish guide was a little better. Great for the price, very portable. Not too big not too small, nice to have the platform extender.
