Twidec/2 Pair K Type Male Female Thermocouple Plug Adapter Cable Wire Connector

Got a spiffy new digital multimeter. The only problem is the banana jacks use non standard spacing so a pre-made adapter won’t work. A bit of wire, some heat shrink, some banana plugs and these made the adapter I need.

My company has purchased essentially all other brands of cheap thermocouple plugs available on Amazon - these are the only ones we will purchase now. Other than this, we will just purchase from McMaster. These plugs have two pieces of metal for the wires to be fastened to, instead of a screw, so you don't have to worry about the wire popping out while tightening the screw. Will buy again.

Reasonable value, and quality, but definitely not a high quality product. However, it was entirely adequate for my purposes.

Works great

Had to replace a plug on a $700 piece of equipment because original screws holding wires to terminals stripped out in the plastic housing. These are metal inserts for the terminal screws. Much more rugged.

Are these connector made with the correct material for K type TC? I made K-type TC extension using these connectors. However, when I heat up the connector section of my measurement setup, the temperature reading starts to shift while the sensing element stayed at the same temperature. I make another extension using type-K TC connectors from another manufacturer, with the same experiment, the temperature stay the same. I am wondering if these connectors are made with the correct material for Type-K TC.

Very cheap. Hard to hold the thermocouple wire, breaks easily. Not worth it

High quality, easy to wire up.
