Great upgrade!
Very sturdy, and well made. Easy to use and smooth. It has a little red line on the end of the plastic piece to easily see where your cut will be so that you don’t cut off something you don’t mean to. It’s a great purchase, and a wonderful upgrade to what I was using!

Works Great and Fast
I'm not one to usually go out of my way to write reviews so the fact that I am for this cutter says something. I'm extremely picky when it comes to cutters and have tried all of them. I hate the swing cutters because they move your page and suck at being precise. I hate the Fiskars track cutters because the plastic bows and wobbles to make an uneven straight line if you press too hard. But this cutter is great. It has a hard solid edge so no wobbly lines and cuts fast. I'm usually cutting thick transparency paper which is like a plastic and this has no problem cutting through it. In the past I've also noticed a lot of my paper cutters take a couple passes to cut through the thicker paper and the blades dull quickly. This blade is made of whatever metal that it doesn't seem to be dulling anytime soon. It's also nice that the cutter has a storage area for extra replacement blades. Overall, it's worth the money and a good second to the very expensive Rotatrim paper cutters I used while in art school.

Amazing
This cuts really well. I had other cutters and this is the best one for the price. Sometimes you need to go over it twice but it cuts without leaving things cut awkwardly.

Best paper cutter!
This is the best paper cutter i have owned. Im not one to leave reviews (i should) but i LOVE this thing. I first bought a small one from a different seller where you slide the blade like this one but i would go through new little blades every 2-3 days and would sometimes tear my paper. I use it to cut thicker sublimation paper everyday and that other one did the job but i dreaded every time i had to get blades. I also had a different one where you cut down with the blade and came with a magnet to hold paper down. The magnet used to leave my paper dirty and i had to reprint quite a few designs. This one however has been a lifesaver. It saves me so much time from having to cut each design individually. It’s super precise. Hasn’t gotten my papers dirty since the thing that holds the paper down is plastic, but strong plastic. It is very safe as well. Its cut so much time down and honestly i would say its one of the best purchases i have made on Amazon that have been extremely useful. Will be purchasing new blades soon so i have them when the time comes. Thank you for this great product!

Does not cut straight, off by about 0.5cm
It cuts evenly through paper but the precision leaves something to be desired. I’ve had it since November and while the blade still seems sharp, there is a definite difference from the angle at the top and bottom of the alignment tool. As others have mentioned, it is about 1° off, which might not be a problem for personal use but makes this a bad choice for professional use. I cut colored paper, presentations, and stationary. Consistently I have to go back with scissors to fix the issue. It is not priced well given this malfunction. The packaging was secure and the overall materials look high quality, but with the issue in alignment, I’d look elsewhere.

Most Features & Bang for Your Buck
These are what I liked: 1) the ability to keep your paper square with the cutter 2) the transparency of the cutter track, so you can see the guiding line or content along which to cut 3) the visibility of imperial & metric measure marks from your paper's edge 4) the offset/index accuracy of measure marks relative to your paper & the paper channel & cut line 5) the controlled straightness of the cutting wheel track 6) the sturdiness, lightness of weight, & portability of the entire board 7) how long the 4-sided cutting pad insert lasts

Hard to use
It can’t be used to cut smaller pieces of paper because the hand guard is so big. That was very frustrating. I also found it super difficult to line up the paper / figure out where the cut was going to be. The plastic neon piece made it impossible to see where the blade was going to cut. I found it hard to use because the slicer part doesn’t flip up like with other paper cutters. It has a small gap and you just slide paper underneath it. Then when you press down, it holds it in place, but I still slipped and cut crooked a couple times. I am going to go back to the cheap regular paper cutters.

Good cut, not accurate
I loved the smoothness of the cutter. It cuts a lot cleaner than the cheaper fiskars cutter I was using. I'm cutting 8.5x11 in cardstock 110lb weight, and it cuts cleanly (at least brand new out of the package,I only received it a few hours ago.) I will say that I was disappointed because the scale is NOT ACCURATE. I was doing a simple cut to make my A2 cards, and I realized that my stack of cards was not lining up. I pulled out my ruler and found the right measurement, and I've marked it on my cutter - where the 5.5 in. half mark is for my cuts. At 5.5 inches, the scale is around 1/8" off! I could make it work with my pencil mark, but I will probably send it back because that's kind of an issue for making professional and accurate cards. It's a beautiful design, easy to use, gives a straight cut, but don't trust it to give you the right measurement! I wish I could say I loved it, but I don't want to pull out a yardstick every time I need to find out an accurate measurement.

Ok for the price
Can’t make up my mind whether I really like this or not. It cuts relatively cleanly but can be harder to position some items due to just how much plastic is in the way. Don’t like so much how it cuts into the base piece underneath too but perhaps that’s needed. It was the best available in stock for the price in the UK though - cheaper rotary cutters don’t seem to exist anymore!

Well build trimmer
Excellent trimmer. Used it for cutting A4 PVC labels. Replacement blades are a bit pricey. Overall build quality is good. Very happy product.
