POROMO A5 Leather Journal with Blank Notebook Refill

Great present for my wife, she loved it, looks great just sitting on the sideboard. Comes in handy and I have ordered refills.

I have to confess that I can't have read the product description fully, so I was surprised to find that it included a good solid pad of decent quality paper. I had bought it for a sketching course and had also ordered some 30-page inserts suggested for the course, so the unexpected pad was a pleasant surprise - it gives me more room to practice! But all that's a bit irrelevant. This is exactly what I wanted to hold my sketchbooks, so from that point of view it gets five stars. But I think the vendor is underselling it. As delivered to me, in addition to the strap restraining the pad, it incorporates two extra pockets, for perhaps a calculator and a credit card, or somethings of similar size. (I have to confess that I am not taken with the add-on pen holder - it's just so... separate! And pens and pencils have so many different diameters that it's difficult to get one right anyway!) So it's more flexible than I expected, but does fully what I wanted, so it's great! However (!?) I do have some advice for purchasers. This is a quality leather product. You can use it as delivered and let it naturally acquire the "patina" suggested in the product page. However, I have wilfully mistreated several good leather products (shoes, hiking boots, etc) and, feeling really guilty, advise another course. Allow a couple of weeks to a month to acquire this notebook holder before you actually need to use it. Buy a set of leather polishing brushes (I bought Amazon's listed Kinear set for a tenner) - make sure to buy a set of brushes for each colour you're using. Buy some reputable leather wax - I bought Kiwi Dark Tan, but it's up to you what colour you want to end up with. Then spend some minutes each day introducing your new notebook cover to its future protective covering. Start off very slowly at first, just smearing across the immediately available surface with your wax and polishing it in. The time spent will pay back in the future, don't worry.

Gorgeous product with a luxury quality. A great gift for someone special. Only issue is I ordered a dark brown and received the brown. It was too late to sent back as it was for a birthday the next day!

I was a bit sceptical buying this one, thinking it might be too good to be true - turns out it isn't at all. It's even better in real life than it is in the descriptions and the pictures here (might add my own in a later edit), at least the dark brown version, which is the one that I ordered. It looks more natural and less glossy than it does in the descrition. Item is obviously new but looks and feels like it has been built to last a lifetime. The notepads I use a quite large and thick (Perfectly Penned dotted A5) but this cover fits like a glove. Well pleased with this purchase.

This journal is exactly as described. The craftsmenship is nothing out of the ordinary, however there's no disappointment. The fact that you are able to just rub away the marks left behind is pretty cool and you can also buy the refillable book, which is also pretty dope.The card slot is useful, if you ever need to put a business card of some sorts there.The pen although at first looks and feels cheap it is actually really nice to write with, however it is a shame you can't buy a replacement pen.I would say though and I think another reviewer mentioned it, the pen holder clip will cause slight damage to the leather journal, if you are constantly going to be moving/removing it and adding back on.

This is exactly as described. I bought it to take a Moleskine journal of about 200 pages, and it comfortably fits that. If it were to be used for art work, there's space for lots of loose papers and so on. The finish is smart - not too "rustic" looking, but it has the quality that will mature in time. I don't think the design is for high fashion, but rather more practical. The advice about the leather marking is correct, but it's not a problem. The leather used is robust which gives confidence that it will last for years and see me through many other journals. It has the solidity that makes me think it will protect my journal in a bag or when I carry it around. I looked at other types of leather journal cover and at this price I am very pleased with this one.

I bought this product as a starter journal to try and get into the habit, and honestly it’s beautiful, and so cheap to buy. It is packaged and presented with so much care, I’ve scuffed it already but I’m sure that’s easy to wipe away! Really excited to start using it :)

When I received this is had a few markings on it but TBH I really couldn’t be bothered sending it back . I bought it for my soft back Moleskine and at first I thought it was too big but you can manipulate the leather to fit the Moleskine and it’s actually fits decent . I also don’t like the tie around so I removed that and will find something to cover up the hole it left. I’m fairly happy in the end but not sure it’s worth full price . Def worth around the £15 mark .

This is the 3rd journal I purchased. It's perfect for me and just the right size. I love the paper that the pages are made of and the fact that I can decorate the cover however I choose. It shipped right away so I received it immediately. I highly recommend this dealer and product. I will be ordering more so that I have 1 for every subject of interest to me. Thanks so much!

I bought the new slightly larger official Bullet Journal for 2024. I was afraid this wouldn’t fit the wider size- but it does beautifully. I may or may not use the pen clip. Leather feels nice and not too thin. I’m excited to use this- hopefully for several years :-)

Schönes elfenbeinfarbenes Papier. Leider nicht füllertauglich. Drückt punktuell durch, mit verschiedenen Füllern und Tinten getestet.

Jättefin läder journal, mjuk och följsam. Pennan som medföljer överraskande bra med svart bläck. Rekommenderar starkt.Boken är en soft cover A5 som håller sig öppen när man skriver. Det ända som förhindrar fullpott är pennhållare som rent estetiskt är ganska ful i mitt tycke. Den gör vad den ska men kommer byta bort den.
