We bought this desk to replace a very cheap desk that's seen better days in my teenage daughter's room. It took my wife and I about 30 minutes to put it together. The instructions are decent and easy to follow. We only made one mistake at the very end on the bottom piece. Reinstalled it upside down and had to unscrew at all and flip it over and put it on the right way. Other than that the build smoothly. It comes in one box and the box is very heavy. When put together this desk is very sturdy and looks great in her room. She loves it and it's a huge upgrade. I have a hex head attachment for cordless drill and also needed the Phillips screwdriver tip. It comes with an allen wrench. If you build everything by hand with a screwdriver and the supply allen wrench the build will take twice as long. If you have a hex head attachment 4 cordless screwdriver and use a cordless screwdriver for the screws that require a Phillips head, then you will speed up this build exponentially. But even using my cordless drill, I turn the clutch on very low and screwed in a slow to medium speed so that I did not over tighten or strip anything. When I got the screws close I would hand tighten everything with the supplied Allen ranch or with a regular Phillips screwdriver chess as a precaution. I did not have any problem with the parts going together. We took our time Andrea Lee make sure we're putting things together correctly on each step. But like I said we just messed up the one step. My daughter loves the black and white marbled look exterior. I definitely recommend this desk.

Ok so I have to admit I was nervous taking this desk out of terribly damaged box. I thought it was going to be badly damaged but nope it’s fine. It had a little dent/scratch at the bottom but not too noticeable. It was easy to put together for me. No issues and I’m not very handy. Looks great. I love how it feels. It’s exactly what I wanted. It’s very sleek and modern/contemporary. Gave my room the finishing touch it needed.

Received and assembled my desk yesterday. Assembly went smoothly as long as you take your time. There seems to be way more assembly than there should be for a desk. 25+ different puzzle pieces not including hardware to get the desk fully assembled.Read the instructions and look at the pieces you are assembling before you actually start putting in the hardware. Some reviews talked about using power tools but I would advise against that unless you can be gentle with using a drill with an allen key or screw head in it.Make sure to turn the clutch down so you dont blow out any of the particle board or round out the screw heads. All the pieces were clearly numbered so you can follow the directions fairly easy which was nice because there are a lot of various pieces of hardware for assembly.Build quality is so so and I guess what would be expected of a desk at this price. It seems sturdy, and looks ok with a modern look and some very functional features. Not what I was actually envisioning from the photos as far as how the desk panels feel. They have a slight texture to them instead of being smooth. May not bother some but I dont like the slight texture on the desk top. For some reason I also thought that it was more of a grey washed wood grain but it is indeed a concrete and marbled look.The wood panels are not laminated MDF. They are laminated particle board. Doesnt matter much once fully assembled but particle board will chip out much easier than MDF so take your time while assembling and don't over tighten any screws.If you want a modern looking desk that is functional and are on a budget, using it for a child's room, and are good at puzzles then it's a good desk that will do it's job. I personally feel that it looks and feels a little cheap but will do the job for now.

Beautiful, sturdy, fits a small space and modern looking. Also has lots of nooks to put stuff in on top, below and in the drawers. Just what we wanted. Not so easy to assemble . Took my daughter and I a couple hours. Maybe cause it was missing a part when it arrived. No problem though cause the company expedited the part plus some extras in two days. I couldn’t believe how fast it came. The company is really concerned with doing the right thing and I appreciate and applaud their efforts! They answered my email to them immediately and shipped the side drawer rail faster than I could believe. I put it on and the desk is great. Although the drawers stick a little bit but for the price it is expected. The Formica has a really nice finish and beautiful in color. Once assembled the desk is heavy and sturdy. It is just right for a small teenager. Maybe even for an adult.

This desk is sleek and functional. It was a bit much to assemble. If you are a dude and enjoy assembling things, this might be easy for you. But for a young woman who doesn't have much strength and experience assembling, this will be tricky. It was for me. There were parts of the assembling process that I definitely couldn't do alone because it did require a good amount of strength. The drawers do not go in and out with ease. That might be a wrong assembling issue on my part but either way, this is not the easiest to assemble. IT IS STURDY AND THE PARTS ARE HEAVY.

I read the reviews and felt comfortable buying this item. However I am unsure how long it will last. Not all of my pieces were labeled but I figured it out. Additionally not all of the holes were drilled or even drilled correctly. I found/ made a way to put the desk together. I know with the correct holes it would have been much easier. Additionally the directions didn't flow in the most efficient way. The manufacturer should make an assembly video to assist others in the future.
