User friendly precision
I am a person who has no business doing home repairs on my own. But I bought a house that is a serious fixer upper and have been doing all kinds of projects. I bought a set of power tools and I’ve been diving in. I had a hodge podge of kitchen cabinets. Five different types altogether. I planned to paint them all and install new hardware to make them “match”. This tool was amazing!!!! I had to fill old hardware holes and then use this tool to make the new ones. It was a life saver. It even came with the drill bit to make the holes which I wasn’t expecting. Sooo good! Look at this nice, even, straight handles 😁😁😁

If you’re not sure if you want something like this- trust me you do! It was such a time saver. Mark your holes with a piece of masking tape and it’s even faster. Would definitely recommend to the DIY homeowner! The only complaint I have is the drill bit that came with it was pretty useless. Use your own. I used a 3/16 bit and it was perfect.

Good to have when installing on multiple cabinets
Very useful in order to add the hardware to the kitchen cabinets. It allows for precise drill location as well as saving a lot of time measuring.

The holes are aligned perfectly for the 3 inch handles I'm using, however
The hole sizes will not allow use of the drill bit enclosed unless you predrill them with a different bit. Drilling the template out with the enclosed bit misaligns the holes.
