Nice unit with Great Customer support
May 2020 - Have had the product for a few weeks now. Seems to work exactly as advertised. Obviously I have no way to measure if it’s actually doing what it’s supposed to do so we go on a leap of faith. It looks stylish and is not out of place on our bathroom vanity counter. Update March 2021 - Unit seems to do what it's supposed to do. After 10 months of use, the unit started to fail to operate. I reached out to the seller & was impressed with how quickly they responded & shipped out a replacement. Wow! great support! Upgraded 5 star.

Solution for crushed bristles
This UV toothbrush sanitizer is very good and just what I was looking for. However, the instructions are slightly unclear on how to insert the toothbrush. The top of the toothbrush (which becomes the "bottom" when inverted), must be almost to the very bottom of the sanitizer. If you look from underneath the device, there is an opening for the water to drip out. The top of the toothbrush should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the very bottom of the device, which would align with the counter or other surface below the device. Everything you see near the top opening of the device (the curved spring-loaded piece, the "cubish" stepped flexible clear plastic structures) are all for holding the handle of the toothbrush. These parts and structures are cleverly designed to hold a wide variety of toothbrush styles. If you don't insert the toothbrush deep enough, these parts will impinge on the bristles, and compress them. The UV LED is located at the inside front of the bottom of the device, so that's where the bristles need to be. There is also a blue LED that illuminates the top area and the clear flexible plastic parts - don't be misled to thinking this is where the UV emitter is located. It isn't - that blue light is just for show and illumination. Ensure that you place the top of the toothbrush (the head, the bristles) nearly to the bottom by just touching the surface (counter top) underneath and then backing it back up about a quarter inch to a half inch, then close the door. This will prevent compression of the bristles and align the head for a good sanitization. I've found that now that I understand what is needed, I can place the toothbrush with one hand, quickly, including snapping the door closed.

Unreliable and Too Expensive
Way overpriced based on reliability. I have purchased several of these units and will not purchase the unit again. The unit requires batteries and it depletes the batteries quickly when the sanitize cycle does not shut off. In addition, for this kind of money, the unit should be rechargeable. I found other products for a fraction of the cost of this unit that are rechargeable and more reliable.

Nice
Love these. Just wish the batteries lasted li get. I ordered another type with a cord. That was a horrible mess in the bathroom. Plus, the other one was too small. This purifier is perfect size, no cords.

Great for germaphobes!
This product is so neat! Crazy enough, I decided I wanted one after watching a TV show. It is simple to use and doesn’t take up more space than any other cup, etc.

The timer and/or on-off mechanism seems a bit unreliable.
If I clasped the germ shield closed while pressing down on it, the light stayed on. Doing so for 4 minutes kept the light on unless I let up on the pressure down on and around the germ shield. At one point it did stay on without my pressure, but not for 4 minutes. I'll keep trying to use it and hope for better results.

???
It’s very compact-like. It fits easily next to my toothbrush holder. There is a bluish purple light that comes on when you put your toothbrush in it. I do not like that the bottom is open. You wind up with a small puddle of water from your toothbrush, so, dry it before putting it in the sanitizer. I ASSUME my tooth brush has been sanitized (with the light) but it turns off very shortly after closing the container with the toothbrush in it. (Maybe I didn’t read the instructions right or something). But, since your tooth brush will be pointing downward, it is draining and drying anyway.
