64 Formerly 33MS Lithium Moly Synthetic High-Heat Lubricant Grease L8

After a couple thousand rounds from an ar, with several mag "dumps", the heat generated has not made this grease creep or burn out of it's home in the barrel nut threads! I use this on Barrel nut threads, buffer tube/receiver extension threads, and muzzle brake threads

If you work on your own firearms or like to build, this mil-spec grease is a must. It's far cheaper to buy in bulk, though if you only plan to build/maintain a couple of rifles it's probably overkill. I find it therapeutic to build, so finding this jar was a godsend. Not much more cost than a tiny jar. I suspect this jar will last through 20-30 builds or more. I don't plan to build that many, but better to have and not need than need and not have. You never know what the future holds. Happy shooting!

The first thing I'd like to get out of the way is to comment on the seller, Global Lubricants. These guys are squared away, stand by the products they sell and support their customers in a manner that sure made me a happy camper.Now to the Aeroshell. My last build I was scraping out the little tin of Aeroshell I had in an effort to get the upper receiver threads lubed prior to installing the barrel nut. I also will apply a thin coat to the Receiver Extension to ensure a good smooth fit. If I'm building a precision rig, I typically will lap the inside of the receiver extension, apply a little Aeroshell and I've found that to be a winning combination. This Aeroshell 33MS is of the highest quality. Smoother than butter, zero grit and looks, feels and works like the Aeroshell I've seen used in the Army and other gunsmiths.So when I used the last of my Aeroshell, I went back to the original order here on Amazon to order another tin. Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for me, they no longer offered that product. I say fortunately for me because that led me to search for another source for Aeroshell. I was looking at reviews and price-point vs. qty/amount of Aeroshell. Not all sellers are the same and above all, I wanted to make are I was getting authentic Aeroshell 33MS Lithium Moly-Synthetic grease. After reading the reviews, I was very confident in the seller and their product. Unfortunately, when I received the product, one of the components was cracked. I do not fault the shipper whatsoever and the grease was not compromised. That said I contacted Global Lubricants and requested a replacement part. Within 24 hours I was contacted by Tony at Global Lubricants and immediately had me squared away. Above and beyond gents. Above and beyond is what Tony did. That's why I will come back to Global Lubricants when I need some more Aeroshell or any other lube they well. Well, ALMOST any other lube. Trust these guys have a quality product and they stand behind it and their customer support is spot on.

After extensive research I determined this grease was the best (in my and others opinion) for use on AR15 barrel nuts and receiver extension castle nut threads. There are other alternatives available but based on my research they all have at least one drawback. This is the right grease. A little goes a LONG way. This container should last the hobbyist many many years. I highly recommend.

Plenty of Aeroshell for many years, great product. This is more than enough for the average person. If used on 5 builds per year over many years there would still be some left. Cheaper to by this way! Seller ships fast and top notch!
