Excellent unit for the price. I had good coverage all over the house with 3 units, and all the way down to our creek, which is about 250 feet from the house. Later, one unit was destroyed by a voltage surge (no fault of the unit) despite being protected by a surge suppressor. It was our main unit wired into the modem, and so all wireless signal was lost. Just hooked up another at the same site, and had coverage again but with only two units. Bought another 2-unit Tenda system, and now we have four units with even more coverage than before (which we didn't actually need). Installation of the new units was as simple as using the app on my phone and scanning the code on each new unit. The rest of the install was automatic. We have an ATT installed modem/wireless router that our main unit was hooked to. That wireless router has its own Wifi, but we don't use it as the coverage is inferior. Also we have wired ethernet throughout the house, via the outlet on the main Tenda mesh unit, through ethernet switches. Highly recommend.

This was amazingly fast and easy to set up. I was concerned with using a third party app to set these up. The app did ask for a lot of permissions but the good news is you can deny almost all of these permissions and the nodes still work fine. The app doesn't need to run in the background, it only helps setup then you can stop using it unless it breaks. I'm not exaggerating when I say setup can be done in a few minutes with almost no technical knowledge. I plugged in an ethernet from my router to the main node, connected to the node wireless, set the new ssid, then it just works. My plan is for 400mbs and I can reliably get 100-300mbs from anywhere in my house with a strong signal. My house isn't huge but it's multistage so it had some dead zones. Very happy.

The pros: Really, really easy to setup. These small boxes are really strong with their signal, would even cover my whole 2200 sqft two-story home using just the primary node. Activating only two of the three included nodes (one for the first, and one for the second floor) I managed to cover not only the whole house, but my front and back yards. The "roaming" from node to node is quite flawless with our iphones, with no connection drop or hiccups in the process, although I cannot understand why my wifi printer and sometimes my laptop (which are just two meters away from the primary node, in the same room) connect to the secondary node (more than four meters and a concrete floor away). The cons: In general, these get the job done, but the system misses some sort of wps pairing option, it could be software included by the manufacturer via a future firmware and app update I guess (had to make my wifi printer "re-learn" my new Nova's SSID and password unplugging the Nodes, and using an old router configured with the exact SSID and password of the Nova's, to then activate the Nova network, quite a hassle but easy in the end). I would also appreciate a browser interface for more enthusiastic and knowledgeable users (currently only the smartphone app allows you to configure these), so some more management options could be reached (no manual channel selection). Using inssider I find some cleaner channels than those the Nova's have chosen, specially in the 5Ghz band, although I still get an excellent range with both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands. Again: Why do some devices like my printer and laptop connect to the farthest node? All in all, I'm still happy with the purchase. I'll update if the experience using them goes significantly better or worse.

The system was very easy to install/set up. We live in a rural area where internet is not great to begin with. I get 60 mbps directly off the router. Before installation of the Tenda Nova Mesh system I could only get 2 mbps DOWNLOAD on my phone in the bedroom at the end of the house (2700 sq ft) opposite the router. After installation I got 57 mpbs. Considering the price point I didn't expect that kind of good performance. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The mesh system works great and is easy to setup. Unfortunately, you will need to restart it every 3 days when the WiFi speed drops from 300 Mbiit/s to 70 Mbit/s. A restart fixes the problem, but this is annoying. Must be a bug in firmware version 1.0.0.38.

Es una excelente opción calidad precio. Si vives en un país donde las casas y apartamentos están construidos en concreto no debes preocuparte, la señal tiene muy buena penetración en los muros. en mi caso lo compré para compartir mi internet con un familiar que vive en un piso inferior al mío y todo perfecto (como ven en la segunda foto tiene una recepción en verde/excelente). La velocidad no se ve afectada. La configuración es demasiado fácil, con conectarlo y descargar la app está funcionando enseguida. La app es muy intuitiva. Normalmente no hago reseñas pero es un gran producto.

Mesh działa na paśmie 5Ghz co ogranicza ilość urządzeń działających w standardzie AC do 4 na node. Możliwe jest zrobienie ethernet backhaul po kablu rezygnując z 2 portów Eth, po jednym na kostkę. Takie rozwiązanie daje dużo lepsze rezultaty. W starszym budownictwie z lat 80, 3 kostki radzą sobie całkiem dobrze z pow. około 150m2 (parter, kawałek ogrodu, i piętro). Dobre rozwiązanie dla niewymagających gdzie liczy się głównie zasięg i jest tylko kilka urządzeń działających w AC. Dobre dla rodziców/dziadków ;) uruchom i zapomnij, okazjonalnie zaglądając w appkę Tendy.

Mam dom 200 metrów kwadratowych i wciąż w niektórych miejscach..zasięg jest słaby.. więc już się poddałem mimo że miałem większe oczekiwania o tego 3 modemy zestawu. Niestety dziury są jeśli chodzi o zasięg.. dlatego tylko trzy 3 gwiazdy
