Received exactly what was expected.
Exactly what I was looking for... Intended for my son's RC car (my hobby, his toy).10ft is the perfect amount of wire which likely hold me for a year or two of motor swaps... I didn't need or want to purchase full spools of these.Silicon (not plastic) covered fine-strand wire.12 gauge is a tad thicker than what is really needed but still easily workable and you'll have confidence that you'll get a proper connection with the thicker wire.Hint: Soldiering is always better than using connectors! Use a good, hot soldiering iron (40w minimum - I use a 100w trigger gun with led light)... Contrary to intuition you are less likely to melt wires and circuit boards with a hotter iron than a cooler one... You need to melt the soldier quickly and hot for the best connections. With a hotter iron you'll touch the iron tip to the wire for less time making it less likely to send the heat down the wire and potentially melt the wire jacket or whatever you're soldiering it to.

High quality tinned copper wire - buy it!
As another review notes, this _IS_ tinned copper wire -- it's not CCA or aluminum. This is a good thing - less corrosion, etc! The wire is super flexible, and extremely easy to strip the insulation off of. I was a little bit nervous ordering it, as I hadn't ever heard of it before, but when it arrived I realized it's the same wire that my LiFePo4 battery supplier has been using for pigtails on the batteries - it's great stuff!I'm using it to replace a few pigtails on the boat where I've been using Ancor marine wire; the Ancor wire is so much stiffer, this is much easier to deal with. If I have any problems I'll update my review - but so far I'm loving it.

READ THE INFORMATION ON TOTAL LENGTH! ITS A SCAM
I like many other failed to read all the information before ordering this power line. That said it's very common to buy such wire in a pair or set, the red and black. Many times it's on the same spool. So, yes we should have read into it more. But it is also sold in somewhat of a misleading manner. You would figure the information would be corrected or updated since so many have been mislead... Unless it is their point to mislead. Now about this wire. Since I only received half the amount I expected the price isn't very good per foot. And since I have to reorder it's a waste of time too. The wire itself is good quality. It looks to be solid copper strands at close magnification. And it's too heavy to be copper clad aluminum. Since I have to return it I'm not cutting into it. The jacket is made of thick and flexible silicone. I have no issues on the wire quality itself only the shady method of marketing. It's a shame that such nice wire will likely be wasted. And a bigger shame that Amazon does nothing to stop such rackets from being run right out of their own website and warehouse.

Awesome product
Used this in a pop-up camper in my pickup. Roof solar feeds through these wires to power camper (fridge, computers, lights, pumps, etc.). Previous wiring had failed due to wear as roof is raised then lowered countless times. These wires have been in use now for 4 years, and I have 0 complaints. Just as flexible and strong as the day I installed. Probably slept in camper 500 nights since then, so raised and lowered 1000 times or so. So satisfied.

Exactly As Advertised
Received exactly what is pictured, and described. If you received copper clad aluminum, something went wrong. I received tinned copper. I made test / jumper leads out of them. I've put them through plenty of use, running motors, pulsing contactors, and charging batteries. They're now old, and faded, but still perform like new.

good
This may be a decent deal but the description says it is copper. It is not copper. It is flexible and does the job but I don't like receiving a product that does not match the description. The seller: Wildsell Inc.Updateit is my understanding that these are copper that are tinned in other words plated. I looked at them under a microscope on the cut end. the individual strands are so small that the plating takes up as much surface area as the copper. I'm not sure that it matters but that's how it is.
