Ngl, I love this box so much. For a single room homeowner renovation project, I was having to move power back and forth and I really can't stand the plastic 1 gang boxes when I know changes are going to happen. I don't like them most other times either and if I had good reason to, I'd replace all of the 1 gang in the house with this for the next guy. While I appreciate the depth of this box, there are so many thoughtful elements included here and that is probably why you are reading reviews. This is the right one.

They give you a cardboard template to make the proper sized hole in the wall. Easy to install. Side “wings” work great to secure fixture inside wall. Very satisfied with this product.

Just what I needed for a remodel box since I was installing a new receptacle in a kitchen Island. Comes with a template. It snugs up tight against the inside without needing a stud.

did the job, seems durable. i did not need the steel wings - but that is a great option for an existing wall

cant reallt tighten it too much, the rear plate might damage the edge of the cutout.
