First of all the positives: Well constructed, solid, lovely piece of furniture. It really is well done and the perfect size for my small corner. Nice nooks and crannies for all the things I wanted to store in there. My husband was able to assemble it without much issue. I have assembled things before, but this one I think I would have found more challenging. So harder than some, but doable. Negatives: The color is called "Harvest Stain". Think more "Golden Oak". I was quite surprised at the color. Not what I expected or what the picture on my computer shows. ( I know, I know, those aren't always accurate, but this was really quite different) So I must say, that disappointed me simply because it was a color I would not have chosen. If you like that color, then you are good to go.

I love this roll top desk.. it is lovely and is in use. I keep getting updates saying that it is on the way!! I contacted the company and was reassured that I was only receiving the one.. However, I got another message today about it being delivered soon 🙄!

I was pleased to find that this is a quality piece of furniture that was actually quite easy to put together. One of the other reviewer’s indicated that the top was held on with only six small screws, there are six screws on the outer edges, but there are additional four screws on the inner part of the desk. I would definitely recommend this desk for anyone looking for a small roll-top desk.

Nice, my wife loves it and that’s all that really matters. I can’t remember what the directions said but you need a good Philips screw driver and a small one. Bring a novice in the knowledge of wood, all the screws screw in by applying a little pressure. The picture of the placement of the screws is hard to see that 4 go in underneath by pulling the drawer out. And to tighten the back bolts after installing the drawer

I lost a similar desk in a divorce, it was built in the 1920's. Comparing the two, this one is a lot less solid. The top is held on with 6 tiny screws, if you move it by carrying it by the top edge, it will probably come off. The side brackets are also held on with tiny screws. One started to come off when I was tightening the bolt that goes into it, had to reconnect the bracket. Two solid washers were missing, that's par for the course these days. It's a nice looking desk, and will serve the purpose
