I used this as a "box springs" for a softer mattress in my camper van. My wife made a custom cover to slip over it, and I've been using it ever since. It was too firm for me to sleep on by itself, but if that's what you're looking for in an upholstery job, this will certainly work well!

This is firm foam. I used it as a camp pad inside my 4Runner and it was almost too firm for a bed. It had a strong chemical odor for about 4 days and then dissipated. It worked great for what I needed. I am happy with the quality.

This foam is perfect for replacing couch cushions or chair cushions.

Very firm. If you are 300 pounds plus, this is good for you. I'm 130 pounds and it's hard as a rock. I'll put something soft on top of it.

Foam in our couch seat cushions was worn out, thought about buying a new couch but decided to try "re-foaming" the seat cushions first. Was able to remove the old foam from the leather cases, carefully remove the polyester batting from the old cushion and adhere to a piece of this foam...I used an electric bread knife to cut the needed cushion pad from the roll. Then stuffed it all back in the case and gave it a try.This foam is pretty firm...it's exactly what I wanted but may not be for everybody. This, as well as stuffing additional polyester batting into the back cushions, has revitalized our old leather couch. We'll see how long it holds up but for now I'm very happy with how this has gone!

My old sofa cushions were flat and awful. These new cushions are super super super firm. It has been a couple of months since putting the new foam in my cushions. They have become a little less stiff. Either way, they are comfortable that someone could fall asleep on the sofa again. It doesn't hurt to sit and study or hang out with the family. Excellent product. Just be sure you are ready for stiff cushions. They fill out the cushion fabric very very nicely.

I recently reupholstered a chair and a half and wanted to replace the seat cushion. This foam ended up being perfect, exactly what I needed. It is firm and comfortable. I just laid the old cushion on top and traced its shape. Then I used a bread knife to carefully saw through the foam. I highly recommend and would purchase again.

Perfect. Came fast, exactly as described. Very firm and seems as though it will hold up quite a while. We used this for a home made custom dog bed for two 200+lb English mastiffs, it maintains cushion underneath even with them on top, so it’s a win in my books!!
