Awesome induction heater
I purchased it about a month ago and have been very happy. I put a tig torch cooler on it for cooling. I had to make my own water manifold to pipe the water into the various inlets. I did have to add a valve on the output end of the return line to create back pressure in the system to satisfy the internal pressure sensor in the coolant line. It was easy to start wide open and then close the valve until the alarm stopped. I have used the induction heater to melt copper, lead, steel and brass metal parts in a crucible and then pour the molten metal into molds. Just basic rectangular shapes so far but will start making 3D-printed wax molds and create plaster holds with them. Melt out the wax and then pour with molten metal. Definitely need to put on a 30amp 220v circuit. It would trip my 20amp breaker if I did a large piece of steel for instance. I am going to make a pipe adapter to adapt the 8mm pipe to 1/4" flare so I can use more common (here in the US at least) 1/4" pipe and flare nuts. Overall I am very satisfied with this induction heater and hope to get many years of black smithing and metal melting out of it. 9/2025 Have been using it off and on for 10 or so months now. Ran into an issue with a relay tripping rapidly and stopping heating. Figured out it is my water pump. I have a used Tig torch water pump on it, and it pulses a lot, and the pulsation of the water pressure was causing the water pressure switch to trip the relay. We just added a little more back pressure (inline valve turned closed a little) to the water return line to the water pump tank to raise and stabilize the water pressure inside the heater, and the relay flickering issue went away. Melted a pound of copper no problem. 10/5/2025 Added a 30 psi pressure gauge so we know exactly what the pressure is inside the system. The spec says .06-.12 Mpa (9-17 psi). I'm running around 12 psi. Have had it trip on over temp a few times. Opened all my individual valves wide open and just use the last one just before the tank. If I still have temp issues may need to look at my water flow. Just running it at a bit of a lower amp setting to reduce the internal heat generated.

worked for 10 min
I hooked it up to the 220V and the tig water cooler and it worked for a few heats and then stopped on "overcurrent protection". would not reset. The troubleshooting guide says "call manufacturer". I called Amazon they are refunding on this order. Sold by Rose Tool. Very disappointing after hooking it all up. Replacement induction heater arrived today. Hooked it up and it is working. I heated one pc of 1/2 inch round bar. So far so good.. The front panel with all the controls is glued to the metal frame that mounts it on the front of the machine. It is so poorly done that most of the glue never got where it belongs. The panel will bend when I push the start and stop buttons. I normally would return something that is this poorly assembled. I will take the time to glue this machine like is is supposed to be.. 2 stars You take a chance when you buy one of these...The good news is, when I had a bad unit, they started the refund process right away. Used the forge this morning. It is working well. Heats the steel quickly. I will add to this review after a month of use.. One month later: The forge is working as it should. It is on 2 or 3 hours a week. I use it to forge iron pieces like coat hooks, bottle openers, and knives.

Great product.
Perfect! I still use a year later and heats up fast. Perfect for my Blacksmithing jobs.

Doesn’t work the way it should
The timer is way slower and its junk. 1 second on the timer turns out to be 5 actual seconds and it burnt down the test pieces i was heating. I tried to return it but they didn’t pick it up

Need to create plumbing manifolds and power plug but works great!
Comes with coils that are probably a great size for small crucibles and melting. But they’re too large for most forging sizes. However, with properly sized coils. I got 1/2” square stock to forge welding temps in about 25 seconds. Only drawback is metric sizes for coil connector flare nuts are harder to get in the U.S..

Company provided excellent technical support
The forge was delivered well padded and without damage. After using the machine an operator error caused a short circuit in one electronic module. CHMING Store representative explained trouble shooting procedures, after the faulted part was isolated they sent a replacement at no cost and followed up with proper installation support. Their help was invaluable to repair the forge.

Weak...
Not as advertised. Power stated is exaggerated greatly. China lying again.

Worked better then expected.
Works even better then I was expecting. Service with the seller was great when I had a problem. Only suggestion it they put a pump rating need to their page.
