utility knife
Good and ideal knife as I work in a warehouse as a line operative that requires me to have a safety knife, this works great for opening boxes and cutting them down etc. Slices through cardboard so easily :)

Cuts OK but very pricey
Regrettably this was another case of me not reading the narrative carefully. I did not realise that this was a ceramic blade and I thought it came with three blades i.e. two spares. I did think it was rather expensive compared to most typical knives of this sort but I put that down to quality. In fact the quality is rather average and the case itself is a bit clunky. It only comes with one blade. Having tried it, it cuts OK, but nothing special and I worry about how long it will last. But replacement blades are £19.99 for two. So that's a tenner each and I could buy two good Stanley knives for that and even more of the cheaper variety. I am often too careless in my purchasing on Amazon. It is made so easy to just click the BUY button without taking care to read what you are buying. This is my fault entirely, I acknowledge that, but, for what it is, this knife is way too expensive and I am annoyed that I bought it in the first place. I have cut my losses and bought a Stanley knife and a lot of blades.

Build quality low
Low build quality, expensive proprietary blades. Does work with traditional Stanley blades but there is a lot of wobble and play. Lovely renders and design with poor execution Proceed with caution

Not up to the cut
I had high hopes for this. The metal body feels weak and cheap. The blade is ok at best. It feels like Ive received a repackaged used unit. Way to pricey for because of this.

Employer made me buy this since they didn’t approve of my folding blade pocket knife being used to cut open boxes at work. Works as expected, cuts cardboard and box tape and won’t lacerate fingers making company happy no ER finger visits. Durable, good quality.

I have been looking to replace my average and infuriating regular utility knife, where the metal blade likes to slip during cutting and threaten me with bodily harm and unnecessary aggravation....and this is PERFECT. I'm starting to really solidify my romance with ceramic blades. I started with the tiny slicer, which opens all of my Amazon boxes effortlessly, and have since purchased several other knives from this line, including the "Exacto" version and this utility knife. And I LOVE them. This cuts cardboard effortlessly, and yet will not take off my finger if I use it like an idiot (we all have those days). It's effective, doesn't rust (no more panicky calls to the doctor's for the date of my most recent tetanus shot), and slices cleanly and easily through the work. GAME CHANGER.

There are a couple things to review with this knife -- the handle and the single included blade. The main cost is the handle, which is more ergonomic than any I have tried. For some reason, most utility knives do not fit the hand well. This is shaped more like a crafting tool. It is sturdy, though not as rugged as my generic style all-metal knife. Loading new blades is done in the typical way, and a holder for extra blades is included. That holder is a little less safe to work with than the standard type that is stored in one half of the knife. The included ceramic "safety" blade is interesting. I don't know if I like it, with the main drawback being that there is no sharp corner at the end, which is a feature I use a lot for things like plunge cutting into a material with a normal metal blade. On the positive side, it stays in good shape for a longer time when used for basic things like breaking down boxes. It is also less likely to result in a cut finger. I think more than one blade should be included. Overall, a somewhat quirky option for a utility knife, with the main appeal to me being ergonomics. Otherwise, I would go with the traditional type.
