For a TTRPG starter set its actually quite good! Everytime arrived well and in good condition! It does use cheap cardboard standees but it's more than most. The starter maps are really good and the books are incredibly detailed. Hell even the started characters are fun to play.

I'm new to the Cyberpunk world and have never played an RPG before, and this starter set was perfect for jumping into both. The rules are streamlined and simple to understand, and more importantly, easy to explain to others new to the game as well. There is enough lore to set the scene, but not so much it feels overwhelming. There's also information for those who want to run the game, not only in the scenarios but throughout both books, which was very helpful. The introductory scenario is quite basic, but an excellent way to do exactly that - introduce the game's mechanics. We played with 4 people all new to Cyberpunk and RPGs, and it was a great way to learn the basics of combat and die rolls. There are 3 other scenarios in the starter kit that are a little more involved, and one you can download on the RTalsorian website, but there's enough information in the books for the person running the game to come up with their own scenarios as well. This jumpstart kit is a great introduction to the game, and we're now really looking forward to the full rules coming out soon which will include class skills for the rest of the characters (not just the Netrunner included in this box) as well as way more weapons and tech.

It was a long time coming and did not disappoint.I've played RTG's Cyberpunk since the original black book box set and the line has seen its ups and downs.Cyberpunk Red is definitely one of the ups - a very tight and playable system, lots of the good old Night City goodness, a serious curve ball or two to update and make it even more relevant. The original games were eerily prophetic, and I can see Maximum Mike is still looking forward AND keeping things at street level. This starter set was a great re-introduction and update to a masterpiece of a game world and system.

The battle mats, dice, cardboard minis, and world book are nice, just be aware that the rules book and ez reference guide are out of date. For instance, some of the DV tables are different from the most current printing of the core rulebook.

Bought this to get off the WotC train since they're the devil. Am very surprised! This is a high quality set, really good printing, awesome graphics, custom dice, several maps and even cardboard player/unit placards (not even DnD provides these for some reason). Wow, really stellar kit for the price. Will definitely be investing in more CP:R stuff.

This is fun to play. It is different from other games I played, but it would be more fun if I had others to play with.

I mean for $25 bucks you get dice, standees, a nice lore book, and a condensed version of the rules.This is excellent and such a good introduction to the world of Cyberpunk

This sets the bar for boxed RPG Starter sets. From here on out why can't a set have Q Workshop dice, printed battle maps and stand-up 2D minis included? Too many companies charge too much for empty cardboard boxes (looking at you, Wizards of the Coast!) with a set of cheap dice. This set rivals or beats the quality of the Call of Cthulhu box set and that's saying a lot.
