Metallic paint that's not even BLACK.
Initial Review. I was skeptical when I saw the bottle itself. I though ok maybe it just needs some mixing, no... Maybe a serious mixing, no. There's so much metallic pigment in this paint it presents itself as just that. On the back of the label it says its metallic paint and the black (which is completely lost in the formula) then shifts to gold. "Black Flash shifts to Gold." By the way this looks much more like an oxidized brass metallic color but that's not overly important here. It dried metallic brass in color. Now It mentions using multiple coats and I'd be happy to give an updated review later if something changes but I'm not particularly optimistic about it. I bought this to use on small artwork and mixed media jewelry. I already work with materials that take 24 hours to cure so a paint that takes another 24 hours to cure and multiple layers isn't optimal for what I need.

Add some depth to your life!
I discovered this color shifting paint a few years ago and fell in love with it. It has been the first paint I reach for when I want to add some pizazz without making something look too flashy. People definitely give whatever you’ve applied it to a second glance and I‘ve had countless compliments on it. The color shifting is more subtle in some colors than it is in others but they all definitely color shift. I started using them in my paint pours and it adds such a wonderful depth to them that I have only ever achieved using this paint. Whatever your intended use, I highly suggest buying a color or two and try it. I can promise that you will not regret buying it. It adds depth and character to anything you apply it to and you can blend it with other regular paint colors without losing the shifting color. The only suggestion I have to make this paint any better is to make larger bottles available for purchase!Just a note: This paint tends to be rather thick so you might want to have whatever thinner you prefer to use on hand while painting with it.

Beautiful finish. My method was to paint a base color with a different acrylic paint as the base coat, wait for that paint to dry, then paint with the color shifting paint. Multiple layers are best, with time to dry between each coat.

Aqua shift, slightly orange hue
I ordered this paint hoping it would fit my needs. I needed a strong, red, metallic paint. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this red had an aqua shift to it from the product page itself. It's nice but doesnt suit my needs. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is due to the fact that it is slightly sheer on first coat, but not difficult to build. Also, note that the red is very warm and in thinner coats may appear orange.

Beautiful color
Important to note, this color is thick and shiny, which I love. I needed a lot more paint than I thought because I was painting bare wood. I painted dining room chairs, and needed a little over one bottle per chair.

I enjoy using it over another paint
This paint is really unique and it really make a base paint have depth. I enjoy using it over another paint.

Would love a sampler set of assorted colours as these are expensive.
These colours are gorgeous but rather expensive. I’d like to be able to buy them in a sample set of colours so I have more choice for a better price. I’m using them sparingly and I’ve found them too expensive for acrylic pouring.

Meh
Um not what I expected - looks green from above and blue from the side - but nothing amazing- also goes on a little on the thin side.

Great colour shifting.
Using this for some small wood-resin projects.
