LLR-10 Caregiver Pager Alert

I bought this unit so my mom could alert my dad that she needed assistance when he was in another part of the house or outside. After inserting batteries into the receiver unit (batteries already inserted in transmitters), pairing the 2 transmitters was as simple as pressing a button. I fastened the Red button transmitter (plays alert tones) in the bathroom with double foam tape (not included), while the Blue transmitter (plays musical tones) stays with my mom on its lanyard. There is a choice of both alert tones and musical jingles to choose from for the applicable transmitter. The receiver also has a high and low volume setting for either the alerts or jingles depending on your needs. My dad can carry the receiver outside with him when working in his shed or leave it on a side table while watching TV.

Works really well and was exactly what we needed for my elderly mother. It does look a bit cheap but works great. Took a couple of read-throughs of the directions to get the signals down, but once we figured that out - we were ready to roll. Signal buttons really large and easy for my mother to find, see and press. We set different tones and put one buzzer in her living room and bathroom. Based on the tones we know if she needs assistance in her living room area or in the bathroom. Have only had a week but so far so good...and much less expensive than other intercom systems!

Bell/sound function works great. Lights quit working within a day. We mounted the receiver/speaker in the hall so that elderly mother-in-law could call for help easily. We can hear it well throughout the house. Even through nearby closed door. The lights aren't important for us, so I didn't return it. It comes with two button pendants. One for normal call and one for emergency. They are each assigned their own sounds, so it's easy to know which one has been pressed. (Could use for two different people or locations.)

I'm VERY pleased with this home Pager, being a caregiver I depend on this so I know when help is needed. The range is excellent too, I was outside splitting firewood when one of the pagers was pushed, I didn't expect it to work while I was far out in the back yard, always test yours because different environments can limit the range but I must say I was impressed. This comes with two different signal senders, one red the other blue. They have different chines or play tunes and also have a flashing LED that matches the color of the senders, this way you know what remote sent the signal. This runs on batteries, the remotes come with Lithium coin size batteries and the base unit uses 3 AAA Batteries.

I am a caregiver for a Parkinson victim. I knew her from work about 6 years ago. The company went under and we only got together a couple of times. I did not know that she had Parkinson's since 1995. She called me 3 years ago to tell me her husband had died. I drove to her home in Wesley Chapel. After trying to go to her home a couple of times a week, I knew she would never survive on her own. She moved in with me and I learned everything about Parkinson's I could. The primary key to being a caregiver and not burning out is having tools that make the caring job easier. Prior to getting this fantastic in home alarm system, I would get up numerous times both night and day to make sure she had not fallen. Now when she needs help, she just presses th button. If I don't hear the melody, I have the confidence to relax and feel stress free. I tried "school bells", whistles and desk bells. She never used them. But I am so happy that she will use the call button. This system would work for a mother that wanted to call the family to dinner or to go to school. Definitely does it's job in our house. Due to our house layout 1 speaker wasn't enough, so I ordered a second kit. I only synced the receiver to the existing 2 buttons and it worked!!!! We now have 2 functional speakers in 2 different locations. Totally worth it!!

Having this product gives me peace of mind that my husband can wake me and let me know he needs help in the other bedroom. My hushand has ALS and is unable to speak to it was important to me that he have a way to call me. He has not had to use it yet, but I know that time will come and he can call me.
