Q: Is there danger to flipping ?

no, its hard to flip while sitting on it

Q: Thinking about one for my basement/kids. How durable and how easy to clean is this?

It’s easy to clean, I would say the durablity it has is good but remember it’s an inflatable couch. We used ours for about 2 weeks. 2 adults and 2 16 year olds and still sprung leaks. If I had to do it over I would have just went to good will and got a cheap real couch.

Don't know, but at least 3 teens over 120lbs sat comfortably.
