Very interesting exploration of the human condition.

This is a great edition of a seminal text in the horror/sci-fi genre. The Seawolf press Illustrated Classics provide readers with definitive texts complete with original illustrations on acid-free paper for very reasonable prices. This is obviously a great story but there are numerous editions available. This is the one to get.

SeaWolf has been hitting the oldies hard, and their work has paid off. These are usually the best versions available of these works from the look of the art and the fonts in particular. Hardcover is the winner here as I don't like the thin, white border on the paperbacks.If you have to choose offhand usually the SeaWolf version is near the best unless you need all the surrounding media of a work that Norton might have provided, or you need a different translation. Otherwise, this is about as close as you can get to the original in text. Lovely cover art on all their books as well. High-quality press.This particular version is an amalgamation of first edition text from 1886, illustrations from 1904, and the cover being a Pioneer Film Corporation poster from 1920. It all adds up to a pleasant read.

The illustrations and the length is more for young adults.
