Might be useful to some, but inherent flaws...
First, I want to address people commenting on it keeping zero. Any rail system that is "quick release" and this cheap is NOT going to keep zero if used on a real firearm, at least not for long and probably not after being removed and put back on, YMMV, but don't expect that level of quality. Personally, I use it for Airsoft weapons and it is fine. My biggest gripe is that slot 3 and 11 on the 45 degree side are blocked by the screws. They are not flush with the underside of the rail and note that no attachment can use that area, as the screws themselves block anything from going there, poor design quality IMO. I am going to return the one I ordered, I find no use for it with the design as is. Now that I have seen it, I realize is is sort of gimmicky. Also, "see-through" is a misnomer. Almost nobody is going to easily sight through that tiny little space. Finally, as far as quality/strength and pins breaking...its under $20 bucks and made in China. If you make it so tight that he pins break, you are might be overtightening it or tightening it wrong...or realize it is made in china and return it for a replacement. My guide... don't use the quick release to mount it. The first mounting should be with the hex key wrench provided with the quick release levers in place. Then, use the levers to remove and leave it set at that. If it is too hard to remove, you overtightened the screws. IF you want it tighter, you don't want a quick release. I have other quick release rails and they are similar and work great.

Bad millwork.
I could not get it to fit the rail. My scope mounted to it but it would not fit the rail.

Junk
Never even got it mounted. The pin pulled out of the slot in the cross bolt when trying to mount it the 1st time. Returning it and likely getting something not QD.
