12" inch Slim Fan Pull Electric Radiator Cooling Fans 12V Mount Kit Unversal Black

I recently purchased two 10" electric radiator fans for my 454 Big Block engine and I couldn't be happier with the performance. The fan blades have a 10" opening and the mounting area is 12", making them a perfect fit. These fans are high CFMs, ensuring that my engine stays cool. I have been using them for a few days and I have not experienced any overheating issues. The installation was easy and straightforward, and the fans have been running smoothly ever since. I highly recommend these 10" electric radiator fans to anyone in need of a reliable cooling solution for their vehicle. The quality construction and excellent performance make them a great value for the price. I will definitely be purchasing more of these fans for my future projects.

I use my machine in continuous mode, for hours with only short breaks. The Rato 740 / Predator 670 starts overheating if nothing is done about the heat being dumped into the center compartment by both the hydraulics and the motor. The hot interior air circulates around and is sucked up by the motor and the ignition coils (and who knows what else) starts to overheat. These fans can be mounted in the sides to exhaust that hot air. Wire them in parallel with the hydraulics fan. If that fan is automatically switched, it would probably be a good idea to install a relay so the thermostatic switch isn't handling the 15-20 amps. Even if you are using a manual switch, make sure it is one that can handle that many amps continuously, or better yet, install a relay. I have installed one, and the overheating problem is nearly solved. The regulator output voltage dropped only about 0.1V with the added load, so a second one is being installed. If you have the smaller (420) engine, one may be all you need. For the 740 / 670, two seems necessary on even a mild (mid-70s) day. Also, make sure your hydraulic cooling fan is configured correctly. Mine was spinning in the correct direction but the blades had not been turned around, so it was not moving much air (and consuming too much power). The blades are stamped with direction of rotation; also look at the curvature of the blades. Same holds true for this fan; to set up in push mode, you have to reverse the wiring AND flip the blade so it is spinning in the correct direction. I also replaced the machine's side panels with hardware cloth, to better allow air flow. If you do not run your machine continuously, this all is probably not an issue. But if you are running it more than about an hour at a stretch, compartment ventilation is highly recommended.

Well it works as a pusher

I installed this fan in front of my recently added trans oil cooler. I used the mounting tabs. Drilling was required but this did fit nicely. Nice fan but it has no instructions at all. Comes with springs. And clips. No clear understanding how to set the fan to push air or pull. How hard can it be to add a single page instruction sheet? Sigh! Update: Reverse wires to change fan rotation. FYI.... this fan is noisy. Not too loud if you are sitting inside but outside, it is loud. I installed a wireless switch on mine so I can turn this on while sitting in traffic. No point leaving it on when vehicle is moving.

I bought this 16" Universal Slim Electric Radiator Cooling Fan for my 2005 Ram 1500, and I’ve got to say, it works great! It moves a lot of air and really helps keep the engine temperature down, especially when I’m stuck in traffic or idling for a while. The fan is slim enough to fit easily in tight spots, and I like that it can be set up as either a push or pull fan — super handy depending on where you need it. Swapping the polarity and flipping the blades was quick and easy. Installation was pretty straightforward. The mounting kit that comes with it works fine, though the plastic ties could be a little stronger — I might upgrade those later. Just a heads-up, it doesn’t come with a relay or thermostat switch, so you’ll need to grab those separately if you want it to kick on automatically. For the price, the build quality is solid. It’s lightweight, not noisy, and the airflow is surprisingly powerful. Definitely a big improvement over my old fan. Used it for a homemade heat transfer from a far to hot wood stove to water tank. Sadly, I forgot to turn it on and it melted to the radiator :( Great quality otherwise though! Installation was easy, connections could be a bit better, but it really wasn't intended for what I used it for!

This is a 1yr follow up review from purchase date. I installed 2 12-inch fans on a W22 workhorse chassis RV to replace my auxiliary fans. OEM parts were not available from the maker, so I decided to go with this as an alternative. They were very close in Fit to OEM fans. With anything that's not OEM I had to do some modifications to the mounting bars so the holes line up & slightly adjust the bar. I used (Ancor 211428 Marine Grade Electrical Nylon Insulated Double Crimp Funnel Entry Fully Insulated Disconnects with Insulation Grip (Female & Male, 12 to 10-Gauge, 25-Pack) from amazon to connect old to new wires. I did not have to use the provided mounting hardware due existing mounting setup. The fans are powerful. Noise level wise I can hear them when they turn on. This is good for me to know if I don't hear them then something is wrong. They operate as good as the previous fans & still functioning 1yr later. The price point & quality are a plus.

Really noisy I think it has a bad bearing .they is the second one I bought the first one was ok. Lasted about a year and a half
