I needed something to clean my Stanley from 1978. 45 years of coffee stains in it and now it’s brand new. No scrubbing required and safe. Brewers use this stuff to clean their stainless steel equipment. I wish I took a photo of before I used this stuff, but take a look at what it looks like after a few scoops and some warm water. I left it in for 30 minutes and shook it a few times, then just rinse with warm water. Brand new inside. Now I’ve used it on my BBQ grills and they came out brand new and shiny. I made a tray of warm water and added a few scoops and let the grills soak. Unbelievable. I bought more and use it on all kinds of dirty metal like my Ninja grill and pots and pans. I haven’t tried it on other materials like plastic, but they say it works wonders. I was super impressed and happy to have discovered this stuff!

I will admit I bought this for the price as a trial. It was a cheaper deal than star san. Star san is pretty much the gold standard for me, having used it so much in food service, but I really like this stuff. It does just as well, if not better but it is too soon to tell. I just know it helped me clean a 5 gallon glass carboy with 5 years of FUNK old crusty ass kombucha scoby and it worked like a champ. Easier than expected. So it's solid in my book already, although I am curious to see just how big of a job it could handle because it's great so far.

PBW is a pretty amazing product. It cleans dishes, dishwashers, glassware, and brewing equipment very well. This coupled with some Star San will clean and sterilize just about everything you could imagine. I'm only taking one star off for the price. You can make your own pretty easily at a fraction of the price, and I find myself using certain OxiClean products (which are much cheaper) and even diluted bleach followed by a thorough rise just as effectively. I use PBW maybe every third time simply because I can get similar results MUCH cheaper than using this every time. If money is not a concern, this product is probably your best bet.

Best cleaner around, perfect for my quartz bangers and turp slurpers when they get chazzed I place them in a sauce pan 3 cups of water and some PBW. The warmer the water the better the cleaning action. Boil solution for 15 minutes and presto like new rinse well and dry good to go.

It is just powder to make some alkaline cleaner. It came without damage, but the packaging could get some improvement since it was just rolling around inside a smaller sized generic amazon box. Use with caution, this thing is very, very strong alkaline and will need dilution for use. Used as prewash with ph neutral soap PBW:Soap:Warm water 1:2:30 ratio with sprayer. Awesome results

I gave this a try on our All-Clad pots and pans with burned-on, discolored rime from high-heat burners. Since the pans hang exposed above our range in an open kitchen, they need to look decent. In the past, I've used baking soda and a soft scrubby for 1 - 2 hours/pan--torture! PBW has ended the torture!! I put 2 Tbs of PBW with a couple gallons or water in a large canning tub/pan, heated the solution up to 150 degrees (well, it might have gotten a little hotter when I wasn't looking), and immersed a whole pan at a time. Just as the instructions say, within 20 - 50 minutes I could take out the stainless steel cookware and clean it to shiny new with a sponge. One pan took longer--but so what? I'd be happy to soak them overnight if needed. Amazing! Life-changing! Note: rinse REALLY thoroughly after cleaning to remove all PBW trace from the cookware before you put food in it.

This stuff is incredible for cleaning stainless steel. I actually bought it to clean keg lines (also works great for that) but in reading reviews saw several peoples’ glowing reviews for its ability to clean stainless steel. I have a 50+ yr old stainless tea pot that I use every day. Its interior was VERY caked in residue. One overnight soak in a solution of this powder and water and it’s like new. Incredible.

It cleans and seems to sanitize well. It dissolves better than other cleaners I use BUT I make a batch of cleaning solution in a separate bowl, using 130⁰F water and scoop from here into the squeeze bottle for the beer lines. Never mix any cleaner powder in the squeeze or pump bottle because you want it properly dissolved. The container of powder lasts a long time because you don't need much to make the cleaning solution.
