I don't know. I was hoping it would strain the iced coffee I make but find it isn't fine enough. It is great for straining quinoa.

Q: Does this work well for baking purposes sifting flour,icing sugar

Most dry ingredients can be sifted through this strainer, but granulated sugar cannot.

Q: What is the actual size of one hole in the strainer? Ie: 1/8”?

1/8"?....Hell no. Maybe 1/32 or so. Quinoa can't pass thru it. That's what I bought it for. Can't beat it. does the job well.
