Great for lifting our hot tub cover! Sturdy, good quality and easy to assemble!

I purchased one of these from a competitor and it broke in 1 day because the large plastic hinges cracked. This one is much better built, the difference is that it seems to be a better quality plastic and the amount of plastic around the holes is more, so it will be stronger. These side brackets carry a lot of weight so they are the Achilles heel for this type of cover system.

For the price you can't go wrong. It's easy to install and makes lifting the top easy. Quality is good, not great, and i wonder how long it will last with kids using it. Some reviews stated missing parts, I received all no issue. I had to install 2x4 bracing to mount to because my tub is plastic on outside but so far no problems.

Bought this cover lift back in November of 2020 (25% less than current price) and installed on my brand new hot tub. A few months after installation, the pivot point area of the lift cover began to flex and the bar that holds the hot tub cover up (when opened) would occasionally slip out to the side and cause the cover to fall down towards the ground. This definitely is a design flaw and could be easily corrected with a guide/plate to prevent the arm from sliding out away from the hot tub. Well fast-forward to November 2022 and the pivot point finally decided it was time to fail. Honestly surprised this piece of junk lasted 2 years. So if you are looking for a hot tub cover assist that will disappoint you, likely fail, and will put you back at square one having to buy a replacement, then feel free to waste your money on this one.

We have had this on our hot tub for a ear and a half. It is so easy to use and the hooks for towels are ery convenient. My only complaint would be the inability to buy replacement mounting brackets. After a year and a half of abuse from my teenager not setting it down gently the mounting bracket finally gave up lol, and it seems our only options are to buy a whole new setup that we don't need or buy a different brand mounting bracket and hope it works.

After having my hot tub for over a year and lifting the top off myself, this has saved me time and back pain. The wife can also lift the top off now which means she can get in on her time and not wait for me to get home. The hot tub is getting used more now as well. The installation was also super easy and took me less than an hour to do. Super happy with this product and wish I would have installed this sooner

Step one: Mount brackets to spa. Step two: attach swing arms to bracket. Wait, what? That's literally impossible since there's no way to secure the washer and locknut on the back side of the bracket now! Step three: Uninstall brackets from spa. GRUMBLE...The pivot bolts are a bit short for my taste - they don't properly engage the nylon on the locknut so I'm sure this will come lose at some point. The included self-tapping screws for locking all the adjustable bars into place are a royal pain. Pre-pay the family swear jar. There's much better solutions for this. They must've fixed their packing problem as the missing parts that so many others complained of didn't happen here. Indeed, there's mystery bonus screws that aren't mentioned in the instructions.There's a LOT of flex in operating the lift - especially in closing the cover, and mine isn't exactly big - 203cm x 203cm. Time will tell but I'm not super optimistic about the longevity of this lift.
