It has been a helpful addition to the knee scooter. The mounting bracket was easy to apply, and the rubber lining has held firmly in place. The basket is easy to lift off when desired, which I do fairly often. It makes post-op life much easier, and has helped reduce trips to get whatever I forgot. My glasses case, phone, a bottle of water and/or a book are with me wherever I land. And it's really helpful to have a way to get things from the pantry to the kitchen without trying to balance them in one hand while attempting to steer the scooter with the other hand. The end result is I am more stable on the scooter when I need to get vs move things. ⚠️ Caution: When the basket is on, it places you further away from the counter, fridge door, etc etc. I usually remove it when I am in the kitchen or bathroom, because there is a sizeable risk of the basket scratching the cabinets or our newer kitchen appliances. Taking it off for certain tasks makes it easier to reach things, and if I don't have to reach as far I am more stable on the scooter. Overall it has been a helpful addition, making things a little easier as I recover from foot surgery. The seller shipped right away, and I would purchase from them again if needed.

This basket is a must if you have to use a knee scooter! Borrowed the rover knee scooter from a friend and needed this to carry stuff around. If you ever buy a knee scooter, be sure to get the ones with inflatable tires like bikes. They make it so much easier and a more comfortable ride than those other scooters that just have the hard little plastic wheels! Seriously! And get the knee pad for the seat also. Trust me. It's worth it! Anyway, The basket was easy to put on and holds everything I need .

This works perfectly with the knee scooter we bought for my husband's recovery from Achilles surgery. I no longer have to schlep his stuff from room to room. He's much more independent with the help of this basket.

A must have for the Knee Rover scooter!

I cannot for the life of me think why, if you need a knee scooter, you would not add a basket. I'm so glad I did! Some model scooters come with baskets, which is great, but if the one you select (I ended up with the Knee Rover GO Hybrid All Terrain, and it didn't come with a basket. Unless you wear some cloak filled with deep, open pockets (whatever that would be), you need a basket to function. It's not "girlie," so get over yourself if that is a hangup. Get a basket, move more freely, get healed, and move on. Some scooter models come with baskets. I chose the model I did for it's small, but sturdy footprint, and the fact it folds smaller than any others I could find. It didn't automatically come with a basket, but the extra cost was worth the effort.

I don't write a lot of reviews even when I'm happy with a product, but this basket's exceptional design warrants a review! Broke my ankle and am using a knee scooter. I looked at a few baskets, and this one stood out because the basket can be easily removed. I thought it couldn't hurt to have more flexibility, and after using it can give you one simple reason why this feature is super helpful--getting stuff done in the kitchen! When I'm doing things like putting dishes away, removing the basket allows me to get 8 inches closer to the cabinets. I hadn't considered this use case when I picked the basket, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The basket holds just enough. I put a washcloth in the bottom to create a soft landing pad for items. Easily fits my laptop, phone, and water bottle. The basket has never seemed like it was about to fall off. Install is super easy as well. It came with some extra shims and allen wrench. Install below the handle adjustment knob and scoot on!

Sturdy, does the job.

I bought this for my mom who broke her heel this past year. We were able to find a knee scooter, but getting this made her moving around so much easier! She was able to put whatever she needed to, to help her move around her condo. But also when getting out - she was able to put her purse and what not in it. Definitely need this if you have to use a knee scooter for a longer period of time!
