Funny story here. This was a birthday present for my son, who invited us to a park to grill out for his birthday. He forgot a flipper for the burgers, and was trying to turn them over with his hands. I saw him jumping around and swinging his arm in the air (to cool it), and asked what in the world he was doing. When he explained, I said "wait a minute" and went to the bag of gifts we'd brought for him. I pulled these out, he unwrapped them standing at the grill, and loves them! They really saved the day, and he's used them ever since for grilling. They work great, even if you have a flipper, to keep your hands cool.

There are so many of these oven gloves from which to choose that I just closed my eyes and picked one. I bought an orange set because it pleased me to have a splash of orange in my contemporary kitchen. A PLUS is the roomy size, which fits my ordinary female hands AND my husband's gigantic mitts. They are thick enough to accomplish their assigned mission which is to prevent heat pass-through when I pick up and hold a heavy hot dish. They look cute on my counter top. To insure easy donning, I sprinkled corn starch inside each one and I'm happy with the results.

These worked perfectly for removing meats from our rotisserie. That's the only use these gloves have been put to so far, but my husband plans on using them with the grill, too. They cleaned up easily. My husband just washed them with them on, just like he was washing his bare hands.It takes a LOT to impress my hubby, but he was very happy with these. We would recommend these.

They kind of work if you're careful, but definitely let heat through. I have a blister on my hand as I write this that these gloves did nothing to prevent.

Arrived as promised by the seller. Gloves themselves are very difficult with which to work. Clumsy, slide around, not great heat resistance, can't hold a grilling tool and use it readily with these on. Don't like them at all. Save your money, buy a different product.

They work really well but you still need to take care because they do not block heat completely. It is nice to be able to have your fingers separate just make sure you work quickly so your fingers do not get too hot before you get your item removed from the oven.

They are not "industrial-grade" protection, but they do their job very well.

Gloves work for the oven and grill, no burns! They are a little big and bulky so if you have small hands, they might not be a good fit. I wear a female size 7 in winter gloves if that helps - they are big for my hands but work well enough.
