Gibson Home Zen Buffet All U Need Dinnerware Combo Set, 45-Piece, White

The dinner plates measure 9-1/4" across and 10-5/8" from corner to corner. They are smaller than a standard dinner plate, but that may not be a bad thing when you think about it. The cups are smaller than advertised. I measured 12 oz. of water and filled one of the cups to the brim and had water leftover. So figure about 11 oz. of liquid. If you use a Keurig, your coffee will fit but there may not be room for you to add cream.I am disappointed in the sizing, however, I love the simplicity and everyday elegance of the design, so I am keeping the set and may buy an additional one. Be aware that the glazing is not perfect and 2 of the 4 plates have small bubbles. It's not a glaring defect, but it seems like something that Gibson Home should be working on to rectify. This would be a stellar set if they improve their quality control and could nudge the plate and mug size up a little. Then it would rate 5 stars instead of the 4 they received today.

When I got these and opened the box, I immediately noticed they were white and that they would hold my food. This is good because up to this point eating my food off my counter has been a drag. I can actually take my food and place on these and then eat directly from them. Eating is fun now. Plates and bowls are cool!

Initially ordered this item based on its looks and the extra pieces (salt/pepper shakers and sugar bowl). After reading the negative reviews I cancelled the order but it was too late to cancel (due to Amazon’s speediness).I figured I’d reject the package when it where is delivered but my postman let’s quickly. The box was too big and heavy to return to the post office and figured it would cost a fortune to return so reluctantly I kept it around a few days before deciding to open it.Nervously, I unwrapped all the pieces, looked for chips or flaws, and didn’t find any. After I washed all the pieces, I put them away in the cabinets. As commented by other reviewers, they are off white in color, who cares. If you don’t compare them to anything white, they look white. After a few days, I started getting very attached to them and started to really like them a lot, especially the bowls. Yes the dinner plates are a bit smaller then the average standard size but I’m not bothered by it. What I really like about the dinner and lunch plates are that they are flat in the center and gradually curve upwards slightly which means anything liquid won’t spell easily. The plates aren’t very light in weight but I got used to them. I love the bowls, I’ve been in restaurants that have similar bowls for serving. The bowls are easy to slurp from 😀 (when no one is around). The platter isn’t as large as expected but so what. It’ll still hold food to serve.The mugs hold the same amount of liquid as my other standard mugs. I’m really happy I kept them. I like them more and more every day.

These are a great value. They are simple with clean lines and go with any decor. I love to photograph my food. These highlight my platings. When I received my set, some of the dishes had chips in them. I called amazon and they sent me another whole set and told me to keep the ones from the first order. Excellent service and a great product.

Everyone thinks my kitchen's staged

I just got my dinnerware set, and 4 pieces came broken. I don’t want to return the full set because i need it for now, but i want a replacement. Please see the pictures.

Oh what a horrible quality this is... first off, bowls and plates came broken and chipped, and if that is not bad enough, literally every plate or bowl than didn’t come broken, has black spots on them glazed in! At first I thought that it was just dirt from the box, and once I wash it it will come off. But no. It stayed. Not to mention different bubbles and pieces of clay sticking out on the dishes. It’s just bad over all. And another thing it looks beautiful and white in the picture shown on amazon website, but be ready to be disappointed once again, it’s a yellowish grayish color. It’s the dollar store quality (if that, because at least there you can pick and choose which plate to take, so you can at least try to take a better one). Another thing, these plates are of different thickness. Some super thick and some not so much.. basically lately I’ve been extremely disappointed with Amazon! Literally every other time I get crap in the mail! And I pay prime membership every year. Starting to think if it’s even worth it. (Probably not) the pictures I included with dirt on them, have been cleaned that’s what’s actually inside the glaze! Now you tell me, how should I or my guests eat off of these plates without loosing their appetite?

I would give this product 5 stars, however the sugar bowl cover was very expensive. I got the first set and everything was perfect, except the sugar bowl lid had a chip out of it. I sent a request to replace the lid. Unfortunately, it turns out the only way to do that is to have a new set sent to you and to sent the old set back, at your own expense. I did get a refund of 3.99 from Zen, however the UPS charge was 51.00, so the replacement sugar bowl lit cost me 47 dollars. Otherwise, I would say that this is a great set of dinnerware. You get a lot of bang for your buck for the 71.00 with the 2 serving dishes, the salt and pepper and the sugar and creamer as well as place settings for 6.I like the way the service looks. It seems like it is nicely fired, hard porcelain and the pieces that have gone through the dishwasher have been fine. I would have liked it better if it had only wound up costing me 71.00 and not in the end 120.00 with the shipping return. If yours arrives intact, you will have got a great deal. If not decide whether you really can't live with the damaged pieces before you do anything, or hopefully you will have better luck communicating and will be able to only replace those pieces that need to be replaced.

El producto es de una calidad regular, me vino una taza que parece que la unión de la asa la realizó un niño y ligeramente picada algunas piezas tienen puntos negros otras no son lisos tienen puntos salidos, me llegó un plato ligeramente despostillado con una marca lineal no muy resaltada pero que se nota.El diseño me gusta, los platos no son grandes más bien son medianos.La vajilla no es de un color blanco puro, lo que a mí gusto también es bueno.El envío llegó un día antes y con solo un plato depostillado, al ser una compra en línea creo que es bueno pero no excelente.Si no fuera por los detalles sería una excelente compra pero los defectos en dos piezas no son muy agradables a la vista.

El diseño de la vajilla es bonito, pero los acabados son malos. En algunos lados se ve como mordido y en algunas tazas encontré detalles por ejemplo gotas de cerámica como si estuviera derretido.

La vajilla es excelente.Cumple totalmente con mis expectativas, la he usado por tres semanas aproximadamente y me ha servido perfectamente.El tamaño de los platos, ideal. Los platos hondos son relativamente "pequeños", nada de qué preocuparse, pero si te sirves un montón de pasta como mi novio, les recomiendo que se sirvan en dos partes.La verdad, me encantan. Son iguales a las fotos, resistentes y de calidad.Llegaron en excelentes condiciones, además.Otra cosa, si eres demasiado exigente, los platos planos grandes tienen un detalle de fabricación mínimo, el cual consiste en un línea que va desde el centro hasta el medio del plato aproximadamente, considero que fue de la máquina de cuando se fabricó, nada del otro mundo y nada de qué preocuparse (ni se nota). Solo lo aclaro.¡Los recomiendo!

This set is riddled with flaws and looks really cheap.There is obviously no quality control in this set. The plates are all different thicknesses and some are bent at weird angles. Every piece in the set has a weird dot in the middle of the finish. A couple pieces have black specks on them. Unbelievable.Just don't buy these. Get literally anything else.
