Worked perfect. Just make sure that the screw is in the middle fo the mounting plate avoiding any space between the temperature switch and the water heater tank.

Ignition starter
On my suburban water heater the ignition wouldn't light the gas pilot burner the T/static/limited switch made it happen easy to install, good value for the moneyworks good just hope it last a long time.

Same exact one that was in my water heater, easy to put in and water is near 140 degrees now.

looks diff buts works great
my part had a diff part number than as ordered and it had a bar versus a rod but i confirmed it was the correct part to use for my surburban hot water heater. strange how they won't update their product info but that is common problem on website shopping no matter where you look. price was good and good to have LP option back for making hot water for when we have no hookups. this single part stopped the entire unit from working properly. we did all kinds of cleaning then replaced the board but it turned out that if this tiny part has failed, the entire process will not even begin to be intiated. do if you are having trouble get your unit to light off, change this first. even a girl can do it. 😉
