WFCO ARTIS New PDS1-130-1240E 12 Volt 12V RV Camper Potable Water Pump 3.0 GPM - No Strainer

This I use to fill my water tank when its empty, away from home. I use it to pump it out of a barrel into the rv tank. Works great. Need a few fittings for the garden hose. It will also replace the rv pump if it should ever go out.

The pump was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I had selected this specific pump based on its manufacturer description as well as its reviews. I only gave it a 2 score because although the pump runs quietly and with little vibration whilst running, it is very noisy and strongly vibrating on longer than average length of time for it to get at pumping pressure and at shut-off. I am not going to use it in the RV, maybe as a simple transfer pump that I use about once a week and when the noise and vibration at start and shut-off will not be such an issue. I do not recommend this pump for use as a main RV pump.

Replaced a FloJet that came with trailer. No comparison in pump quality or noise generated. This is a far superior product. Would have given it 5 stars, but for the lack of good installation instructions (like direction of flow) and the fact that hose fittings were difficult to source since flair pipe threads are not noted. Great pump so far.
