One of the Best Tableau Resources Available
I’ve been consumed by Tableau for the last 8 years and by virtue of my career path I am a “Tableau Expert.”This book, as well as Sleeper’s previous title “Practical Tableau,” are some of the best resources available. I have a bookshelf full of Tableau-related books and I’ve been reaching for “Innovative Tableau” more than any other title in my collection since it arrived. It’s a fantastic resource to boost Tableau skills and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to make an impact within their organization using Tableau or influence their own career trajectory.

Fantastic
I've read a ton of Tableau content--including the author's first book--and this has been by far the best. It's extremely good.

Damaged rear-cover
The only problem was that the rear cover of the book was damaged.

Not as good as Sleeper’s Practical Tableau
Interesting, some useful bits; not as useful as Practical Tableau, maybe not as innovative.

Really practical !
A good collection of tips and tricks. Recommend to intermediate users. Would be great to put more focus on data analysis techniques apart from visualisation.

Want to be a Tableau Power user?
A fantastic Tableau book to become a power user. It's a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for quality content ... and color.Unlike Ryan's first book, this is way more technical and I love it. A few highlights:Chapter 35: How to make marginal histograms (see image - I had to test it immediately on the EU superstore dataset).Chapter 50: How to de-duplicate joined rows. In other words, using LODs to fight those pesky join risks.Chapter 78: How to automatically highlight the latest trend.Great work Ryan!
