Essentials of MMPI-A Assessment (Essentials of Psychological Assessment Series)

The content of the book itself is helpful and relevant. The kindle version is very poor. It is unreadable in some areas and hard to read in others. Furthermore, the index has page number, but the book does not, so you cannot find topics easily. I wish I had purchased a hard copy instead.

A thorough, albeit inelegant, guide. This book is a perfect guide for those just beginning or to double check details. After graduate courses, it was helpful to have a refresher as I begin scoring and interpreting more independently.

Even though I already had the MMPI-2 book, I thought this was good to have, especially for interpreting the MMPI-A

This book is great to have around for students just starting to learn about the MMPI-A. They break down the catgories and give sample reports to help clarify the fuzzy parts.
