I've had this dvd player for 2 years. I've read a lot of reviews stating it's not a regional dvd player. It is the region will need to be changed. Insert DVD - press stop on control - press 1 for region A, press 2 for region B, press 3 for region C.

It deeply saddens me to have to leave negative feedback, and I normally avoid doing so. However, the product delivered in this case, despite carrying the identical model number to that advertised on Amazon, is ABSOLUTELY NOT A MULTI-REGION Blu Ray / DVD Player. Unfortunately, it only plays Region 'B' Blu Ray discs and 'Region 2' / 'region free' DVD's i.e. Europe. Only a return option is offered as a remedy, which is really a pain and no good whatsoever when your puppy Dogs helped with the unpacking - the box is history 🙄. A Complete & Utter waste of time if MULTI-REGION playback is your reason for buying it. I'd suggest not taking the chance, and avoiding purchase unless you want to be disappointed and pay well 'over the odds' for a bog standard player or if you enjoy the Amazon returns process. The Amazon listing needs to be reviewed urgently.

Excellent Blu-Ray player plays all dvds and Blu-Ray cds 💿 compatible with the Internet very easy set up

Resurrecting my recently re-discovered DVD collection after attic clearance. Plays everything, even some dubious self recorded stuff. Tiny profile, but just right for where I wished to place it. And does justice to material when in combo with new Ultra High Def Sony TV. Started my re-viewing with Apocalypse Now, Apocalypto and I Am legend. Looking forward to revisiting my old stuff. Didn't think I'd ever buy another DVD player - but Prime/Netflix doesn't have EVERYTHING.

This machine suffers from so many flaws it's pointless going into it, but the main this is it doesn't work any better than a Samsung machine from 2012! Yes you BBC play big deal it's useless, I put a standard blu ra in and it locked up and wouldn't eject the disk... Just don't get this machine, pay at least twice this price and forget the streaming services get an Apple TV or sky box. Also the unit arrived in a 'pre opened box' and had obviously been used before, the pitiful remote had dirt on it and was pushed into a used plastic bag and stuck down with a torn pice of masking tape! Poor show all round.

Great DVD all regions player, remember, if you want an all regions player you must buy one that is ICOS chipped, this one is and it states that on the box, a small thing to note that if used with other Panasonic equipment the remotes for each unit may operate both units, to stop this go into set up menu and alter remote setting. eg. alter setting DVD1 to DVD2 on one unit (this has nothing to do with region codes, do not worry!} point and hold remote for 5 seconds at unit and this will then fix that unit so it's remote will not operate the 2nd unit

Very good player. Region free as indicated (so one can watch say a “Sinners” Blu-ray purchased in the US or a “Nosferatu” Blu-ray from the UK). Easy set up too. However, no wi-fi connectivity (one needs to plug in an ethernet cable). Overall, pleased with this purchase though
