C-Line 13-Pocket Junior Expanding File, 10 x 5, Includes Tabs (58710)

I have a unique need in that a charitable organization I work with uses forms printed on 8-1/2 x 11 paper cut in half to 8-1/2 by 5-1/2. This expanding file provides an excellent way to sort and carry them. It is a little hard to figure out the true workable dimensions from the specs. It holds these paper forms perfectly, but the forms do extend out of the pockets slightly. The pockets are about 5" deep with no bottoms - they are not true pockets, just dividers. However the fold-over top allows plenty of room for the 5-1/2" forms without damaging the edges. I am not concerned about the labels for my use so I have no comments on that. I do not think it would work for coupons as it is advertised for unless the coupons were on at least 20 lb stock. If they were on newsprint, they would probably slide under the dividers.

Perfect for standard sized envelopes. I would say it holds about 30-50 envelopes within the sections comfortably. I work for a tax office and pre-make envelopes to clip with vouchers for clients to send into the government, and this works perfectly for my needs. It does come in a random color and I did get the one color I was hoping not to get LOL but that's alright, just keep in mind it really is a random color out of the three pictured. (Tradesies if you got turquoise and want blue :P)

I love this thing. I use it to organize for each month of the year. It comes with the ability to put letters or months in each tab. I use the months. It is so excellent for inside a desk drawer or on top. Easy to set up the tabs and super helpful that they include that option. You may just want to use it for a classroom as a teacher and keep things organized for a school field trip. You could use it for recipes. I love the side and it expands well as it gets thicker throughout the course of its use. Love it!

This is pretty much what I was expecting- it’s honestly sturdier than I was expecting though. It’s long enough for what I need but a bit taller than I thought it would be. I am using it for a unique purpose though - I am a DM and I have printed a ton of monster stats to use in my campaigns. Some of the stats are just under a page long but everything has fit in there nicely. Most of them are only three inches wide so nothing is crushed when closed, I think it could handle another inch or two as well. The reason I didn’t give this five stars is because I specifically was looking forward to the letter labels- I have so many monsters that I needed to organize them alphabetically and separately so I wasn’t searching through a huge mass of stats. However, the labels came misprinted! The perforations were in the wrong places so many of the letters tops were cut off when I folded or separated them. This was pretty disappointing because I was looking forward to having it look really neat and tidy. The other VERY minor disappointment was that the plastic lip folds over the bottom a bit. I think things to be flush, but it’s not a big deal as it still stays closed nicely. There are plenty of pockets for organizing things 1-4 letters at a time, and I turned over some labels (which are blank of the back, perfect!) for a few custom tabs. I would have given this five stars if not for the label misprint. I also got blue instead of pink as I was expecting, but blue is my favorite color so I am happy!

I've purchased 2 of these so far, to keep a year's worth of store and other receipts in each one, and they work great for that. They come with preprinted labels for alphabet or months. These are thick enough for me at about an inch across the bottom, but keep in mind the bottom does not have accordion folds, so that somewhat limits their capacity. I'll likely continue to buy them annually as long as they're available.

This product didn't let you pick the color. I ended up getting a light teal color, which was very pretty. I think it's pretty sturdy. I used it during Girl Scout Cookie, Booth sales. I put 4 stars for durability... It's strong, but I REALLY don't think this case will last for years and years, it's plastic. I mean, I'm gentle and I only expect to use for cookies sales... But someone a lot more active than me, eh... I don't know. Example, if a kid took it to school, over and over, It definitely won't last long. I'm glad I bought it though. I used the labels to mark; $1, $2, $5, etc. I like to be organized so give change back faster :)

I have purchased multiple versions of this coupon-size expanding file organizer over the years because I really like the concept and size. It is compact, easy to carry, and works well for organizing coupons, receipts, gift cards, and other small papers. Unfortunately, durability has been an issue for me. My first organizer was eventually lost, but the second one broke after regular use. I purchased this third one hoping for better results, but the closure mechanism has failed again, as shown in my photos. When the organizer is working properly, it is convenient and keeps everything organized. The size is perfect for a purse, glove box, or shopping bag. However, I expected better longevity given that I have experienced the same issue more than once. If you only need occasional use, this may work well for you. For heavy or long-term use, I would recommend looking for an option with a more durable closure system.

Great product! Perfect size for organizing receipts from store purchases. You can organize by month or alphabetically with the little tabs provided. I would purchase again. I use this to empty out my purse each week and can quickly find a receipt in case I need to make a return or claim a warranty. Good capacity and I like the colorful appearance.

I use one every year to organize my receipts for tax time.

La Amo! Para traer e. Mi bolso y tener orden de rectas médicas, tickets, documentos importantes. Se acabó el caos en mi bolso !

Use it to keep my income tax return documents classifed by year. It's perfect! I don't use it by month, but by year! Therefore one folder lasts me 13 years!

Great product! I bought this to store my son's old art projects. I have a hard time throwing his artwork away, so this is perfect to keep it safe and organized. Very happy with this purchase - highly recommend!

The pockets are just the right size for monthly receipts and cheques. My only complaint is that the front flap is a bit too sharp and it would help if the depth were a bit less. Other than that minor detail I am thrilled with the expanding file.
