Nice Leather Sheath, Well Made, Good Price
These folding knife sheaths are as functional as they are good looking. The photo in the listing on Amazon.com are exactly how they look in person. They are well stitched and well made with good quality leather. I love the basketweave pattern they are tooled with. The snap is of good quality. It snaps securely. The belt loop is neatly cut into the back panel. Some may prefer an actual loop sewn in the back panel, but in my experience, the loop cut into the back panel holds the pouch closer to the belt, plus if the knife is a little small for the pouch the belt's intrusion into the inside of the pouch will help keep it in place. The leather was a little dry, but a few minutes with a wash cloth and a tin of leather conditioner will remedy that. It's important to apply the conditioner to the inside of the leather as well as the outside. I bought two of these, and I'm glad I did. The lock back knife I bought it for is exactly 4" long when closed. The flap requires a slight stretch to secure the snap. but that's exactly how I like it. It holds the knife securely in place with no rattling around. FYI, the interior of the pouch is 1 1/8" wide and 1/2" deep.

Good quality and a good fit for 4" knife.
This leather pocket knife case is just as it looks on Amazon. It's a good fit for a 4 inch pocket knife. The leather is good looking and l expect it will last a long time. Fits on a belt well too. Good quality item at a reasonable price.

Good quality
Ordered two of these for various knives. I won’t use them to carry but will store my knives in the so they won’t be scratched in storage. They are made of quality leather, and the snap closure seems secure. They are a bit large for my small Case 440 and Old Timer knives, but my Swiss Army knife and Case 310 fit well.

Great leather, made in Mexico.
Excellent all around, but with one small flaw. The snap on the very inside had a small edge to it. So the first time I pulled my $45 Swiss army knife out, it had a nice little scratch that ran the length of the knife. I’m not gonna freak out about it, it’s a tool. I used some mole skin for blisters to cover the back of the snap, some tape would work too I guess? Not an issue for me, but I wouldn’t put an expensive Case or Boker in this thing.

Poor quality and design
Beware. This sheath is very poor quality and design. The back is a single piece of leather, problem is they cut two slits in the back piece approx. 1" wide and about 3" tall for where your belt goes through. This leaves a 1" x 3" hole for your smal knife to fall out of. Its made for small knives 3.5" to 4" tall. Not sure what the designer was thinking here, maybe he assumed that the belt would pull it in enough to close the hole a bit. I'm a knife guy and collector and many of my knives are well over five hundred dollars, the one this sheath was purchased for is 1/500 in the world Damascus Boker German knife. I'm not taking a chance it won't fall out........you know the problem with assumptions, and also &@$! Happens. Make up your own mind. P.s. there is also a metal snap inside the sheath that is not protected with the plastic cover leaving it open to scratch your knife up.

Very good sheath
I've been looking a long time for a good leather knife sheath. This is it! I've been wearing this daily on my belt holding my benchmade summit lake folder for close to 2 years now. I have no problems! The fit is perfect! I love the slits in the sheath versus a leather loop which always seems to stretch out and be loose on my belt. The design pulls the sheath close to my leather belt! My benchmade isn't being scratched like other reviewers are experiencing. I bought 4 of these sheaths because they work so well for me and are exactly what I was looking for!

Fit my Schrade 55 UH like a glove
This seems like a good quality handcrafted sheath. It has a brass snap with a brown plastic cover. There is no belt loop. The sheath has two 2 7/8" slits on the back instead. Construction seems solid. Being two piece construction, both components are both sewn and glued together. As a reference, a two layer plastic scale Victorinox Spartan or Tinker will fit snugly girthwise, leaving about 1/2" lengthwise available for you to stuff some cord or other items you might want to add. In any case, it also does a splendid job for the Victorinox alone as well
