Like everyone else, we've fallen into the jigsaw puzzle resurgence, a la the pandemic. The problem is that in a small-ish house with 2 kids and 2 cats, we have no horizontal space appropriate for a large, fun puzzle. For a while, I was using a huge piece of cardboard (flattened Amazon box), but it was just a matter of time until a puzzle bit the dust. I figured we needed this.I've never used one of these things before, as it's probably been 30 years since I did a jigsaw puzzle. It's essentially a large piece of thick felt (or something felt-ish), and an inflatable bolster pillow that you use to wrap the mat around. Once everything is rolled securely, you simply fasten the puzzle roll with 3 sturdy velcro straps. Finally, you slip the whole thing into a large drawstring bag, on the off-chance that anything comes out. It works well.Critiques? Throw the stupid hand pump away. It doesn't work well at all, and with the size of the bolster pillow, you can inflate it with your own lungs in seconds. I think I counted about 10 puffs. Also, the felt came folded, so there are creases in it. That definitely makes puzzle construction more difficult, only because of the uneven surface. I'm sure with time the folds will fall out, but for now it's a pain.The puzzle stays intact pretty well. As you're beginning and only have narrow strips together, you will have to do a bit of reconstruction when you open everything up. So, I'm pretty pleased with it. It's certainly getting a lot of use!

This wrapper allowed us to make multiple moves of a very difficult 1000-piece puzzle. I only wonder if the fabric (thin, felt-like) is the optimum as it makes small adjustments, made more easily on a hard table surface, a little difficult. Am wondering if I can safely iron the backing piece.

Solid, easy to use puzzle mat. It has been great with all the extra time spent indoors during the pandemic. Loved the free pump that came with it.

This thing is amazing! I am constantly leaving puzzles on our dining room table and the family was getting tired of it. I decided to get this so I can do puzzles anywhere. It has exceeded my expectations. I had only finished my border and assumed it would not work with few puzzle pieces but it did not budge after I rolled it up! It sounds nerdy to be this excited about a puzzle mat but it is awesome that I can take an unfinished puzzle with me anywhere!

I am very pleased with the quality of this jigsaw puzzle mat. I have wanted to order one for awhile and now that we are staying at home dealing with the Corona Virus, puzzles are a great way to pass the time. This puzzle mat and storage bag will make it very easy to work on the puzzle and put it aside to have the family dinner at the dining room table. The puzzle mat exceeded my expectations in great quality at a reasonable price.

I didn’t know a product like this existed until quarantine when everyone started doing puzzles. It’s been a lifesaver for me because I have 4 kids and I can work on a puzzle after bedtime then roll it up and store it during the day so the kids don’t mess with it. I like that when I’m not using it I can deflate the tube and store it small.

I like the product and the concept but the plastic that the tub is made out of is very thin. After a few weeks mine developed a small leak. As long as I reinflate twice a day it still keeps the pieces in place. I am going to order a cardboard mailing tube to replace the inflatable one.
