This device is so good it's fast and had good face recognition it recognises your face streght away and its quick and it responds to everything that you click and everything you do on this phone is great you can easily get Facebook and messenger and WhatsApp from the app gallery and for some of the apps that aren't available you can either download Gspace and run some of Google apps via that or you can download APKpure which has loads of app that's you can download. The phone has a very responsive finger print scanner that recognises your finger streght away and has a really great camera like all Huawei phone's and this phone was worth every pound I paid for this phone such a great phone I can't fault any of Huawei phone's because they're such a great phone

Can't reccommend this phone, hard to download apps doesn't support any usable apps can't use my online banking and alpt of shopping apps, camera is low quality for a 48mp only bought as a temporary phone and I'm still disappointed, bought brand new and after 2 weeks and 1 use the aux port has already broke

I got my new phone Huawei P40 lite for a few days. It do not have Google Play Store and Google Mail Client, can not sync with Google calendar and contacts. However, still can install all the app from Petal Search. I used Outlook app for my Google email, it also could sync calendar and contacts. So I got what I need for my phone. It work so fast and clear. The camera is second to none. For the price. I am very happy with it.

The phone itself is well designed and the physical devices - sound, camera, sensors, telephone/music etc., all work very well. But the Huawei App Store is extremely limited. Whilst there are lots of videos and other explanations on the web telling you how to get Google Play Store and the Google Account Manager working with this phone the reality is that success is very far from guaranteed, and installing them may make the Huawei Android EMUI OS unstable. Sideloading apps from other third-party sites may or may not work reliably, especially if those apps depend in any way on a working instance of Google Play or Google Account Manager. In short: Mea Culpa, buyer beware. It's a good phone if you don't depend on Google in any way. Otherwise, avoid it with prejudice.

No one app of google works. And google is very important and have many usefull apps. You Need to work on it. I need to buy another phone but won’t be this

Phone came in good quality and I have no problem with the seller but huwei is a horrible company. I can't install any Google service e.g playstore & YouTube so I'm stuck with the default app store which make me download off dojy apk sites. Furthermore I can't download simple apps such as auto trader. This is a Chinese phone and it feels like I'm in China with all the restrictions they have. Do not buy.

The only bad thing about this phone is that it doesn't have PlayStore.You must download other apps to get what you want from PlayStore. Otherwise the phone is the best on the market for this price.

Ebbene sì. A discapito di quanto possa sembrare, questo prodotto, per la fascia a cui appartiene è un ottimo compromesso. La mancanza dei servizi Google per la serie P40 può sembrare un difetto ma a mio parere non è niente di particolarmente importante. L'assenza di questi servizi può essere un problema per chi ha necessariamente bisogno di usare determinate applicazioni che prevedono la presenza dei Google services ma per una persona che ha solo voglia di rianimare lo stile del proprio smartphone con magari un nuovo design (che devo dire non è affatto male, anzi), questo prodotto è perfetto. Ho avuto modo di testare personalmente le nuove "condizioni" derivanti dalla mancanza dei Google services e vorrei sottolineare che, come anche si può vedere dalle varie recensioni su YouTube, la durata della batteria è prolungata di almeno mezza giornata rispetto ai suoi predecessori, inoltre ho notato una maggiore fluidità. Con questo voglio dire che non serve spaventarsi se "manca" Google. Ci sono tante alternative, sia per gli store e le app, e sia per quanto riguarda servizi di emailing, browser ecc..

1. Une catastrophe, déjà pas de service google donc pas de playstore... en soin passe encore. 2. La 4g ne fonctionne presque pas, 3. la mise à jour du système se lance mais ensuite s’éteind le gsm et ne l'a programme pas donc en gros ne se fait jamais. Si vous mettez un réveille bah le gsm éteint il ne sonnera pas. Voilà à vos risque et périls mais je le deconseils.

it took me a while to install google service. but it worth. now it updated to 10.1.0.301 and works very well.
