Every Parent should read this book repeatedly to their young children to emphasize the value of what a difference they can make in the lives of others. It encourages them to CARE about others and know that it truly makes all the difference. it promotes peace with the family, friend, community, world+ + +

The book has wonderful illustrations that go with the message in this book. It clearly shows how one can change things around them with just a little step. My son loved this book. Really helpful to children in making them understand that even a small step can count in bringing what you desire. Love the little section about mindfulness at the end of the book.

My girls, and I were extremely excited to hear that there was another book to add to our collection of Susan Verde. I preordered the book, and surprisingly the arrival date was for my one of my daughters birthday; extra exciting. I opened the box it came in, and was immediately disappointed. Whoever was given the job of packing the book did a horrendous job. There was no protection for the book besides some air bags that did not pack it in tightly. The book was able to move around in the box causing the cover to get scuffed, and creased. I thought that was going to be the only issue. A book cover would be easy to replace. As I laid down with my girls to read our new addition I noticed that the outside of the book wasn’t the only part that was messed up. Throughout the entire book the pages are dirty, creased, and really disappointing considering that I like to keep my books at their best. I will probably be ordering another one hopefully it will come in better condition. The book itself is wonderful just like all the others in the collection. The book is simple, but with an impactful message that our children need to learn. I totally appreciate the series, and I will keep my eye out for any future additions. Thank you Susan Verde for your awesomeness.

These books are hands down my favorite children’s books. We have them all, and anytime I have a gift to give I give these books to like minded families. I absolutely love them. And I love when my daughter picks them for bedtime. I pick them always. 😜

Peter H. Reynolds's illustrations are beautiful! I buy his books all of the time. Whether he writes them too or illustrates for Susan Verde, the messages are always wonderful and timely. I share them with my 3rd graders every year.

What a great team these two are. Their books mean so much to my little nephew!

The book talks about every little action (even the most tiny action) you take counts and does matter. I want to teach my son that it doesn’t matter how small you are, how helpless you feel, how much money you have, every the little tiny action you do can take effect, can create ripples of effect and matters to others and can lead to achieving your goals. I’m using this book to teach him that every action has a cause and effect so if he wants something in life or wants change, take action. Of course certain actions can lead to mistakes or bad effects but I want my son to know it’s ok to make mistakes because it’s a learning experience which is part of life but don’t be afraid to take first step to an action.

We now have three books in this series and they never disappoint. The messages and words really speak to the best of the human condition. The illustrations are amazing and truly bring the words, feelings, and expressions to life.Highly recommended!
