UPDATE: After leaving the review below eSamcore reached out and offered their newer magnet phone holder. As someone who leaves a review for every product I purchase on Amazon, I have to say I was super impressed because this was the first time a company has responded and tried to make it right, even though I still gave 3 stars despite the concern. That by itself made me very happy.They then sent me the newer product and sent it with the 3M VHB tape, letting me know that I could use that, or the magnet would still connect to my vent mount so I could choose which I liked best. I received the new mount today and tried it out and was extremely impressed by the more powerful magnet. The only thing that was more impressive was the customer service I recieved. I've worked in customer service for 8 years and the service I receieved has set a new expectation for myself. I absolutely love a company that tries to make a wrong right, but this company did way more than that. You went above and beyond and I can't thank you enough for your consideration and attention to detail. If I could I'd give them a 100/5!I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. If i get in an accident I know my phone wont stay on this holder. Other than that, the clip is good, when you postion and tighten it it stays put on the vent. Really the magnet is the only negative, everything else is perfect!

I did a lot of searching for a good phone mount for my car. I was skeptical at first because it was magnetic, but once I read the reviews I figured i'd be okay. NOPE! ONE, it looks tacky that you have to put a big black magnet on the back of your phone, and my iphone case is see through, it looks terrible. TWO, the instructions were literally one tiny page with only 3 steps. (not that it's that hard to install, but still). And last but most certaintly not least, it only holds my phone if I have it facing up towards the roof of my car, if I try to move it to face my directly, it falls right off because the phone is too heavy!!!!!! Very disappointed. Will be returning and purchasing a different one, that is NOT magnetic.!

I wanted something more compact than the suction cup cradle I was using in rental cars when I traveled. So far it's safely held our phones in multiple cars traveling over all manner of back roads and potholed city streets without an issue.This mount fits the bill very nicely. Unlike other vent mounts that simply press on to the vent louvers (I just looked that up) this mount has a firm spring clamp than grabs on regardless of how thick or thin the louvers (since I went to the trouble) are.The little "anti fall stand" is a nice addition. It has click stops so it stays where you set it, allowing the louvers :) to stay open and still keep my phone at the angle I set it.I've gone through lots of different phone mounts and this one is by far the best combination of compactness and versatility.I'm also benefiting from my  Vena iPhone case . It has a built in metal flap that works great with this (or any other) magnetic mount.

On the surface, it's a really good product. It's got a round magnet, it comes with the magnets it's supposed to attach to, but if you have a phone that's already got a magnet in the back (and, in my case, a case for the iphone 12 magnet lock charger), this product just won't hold it up. The phone is too heavy. It sliiiides off of it. Even perfectly still, not even in the car or with any bumps, it just goes.Now, if you have a case you don't mind sticking the extra magnet it came with on, then it might be workable.

i needed a magnetic holder that came out away from the vent, that could be adjustable rotation for when the sun hits it in just the right spot and allowed me to still use the vent (change direction/angle). i had a magnetic vent holder before, which i love b/c easy to take off and on while driving, but i got a new phone grip which takes up more space and it didn't fit flat against the vent anymore. plus the other one wasn't adjustable for sun rotation. i only wish that the little stand had a little more range. so far, i love this holder!!

This is an honest review, with the price I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this mount. The strength of the magnets is VERY strong. The mount is so stable I’d be confident even in a major wreck my phone would stay put. It comes with 2 very thin metal plates with 3m tape on the back to stick to your phone. One is circular and the exact size of a pop socket, the other is rectangular allowing you to slide your phone higher or lower on the mount but still stays put very well. I’d chose this mount over any other one I’ve used!

I just got a Jeep and wanted to put my phone somewhere, unfortunately my dash doesn't really have room for a sticky one so I tried this hoping the little 'foot' on it would help... it does not on those funny Jeep vents. Your phone will sort of hang down and I don't trust it while driving so haven't actually used. I do think this would be great for pretty much any other kind of car.

No muss, no fuss! Don't have to worry about whether my phone will fall off the holder or whether the holder actually fits my phone! I have a card sleeve on the back of my phone, so it doesn't fit in most car holders. Not a worry now (my card sleeve is RFID protected + has a metal block between the cards and outside, so the magnetic strips on the cards haven't been impacted).I'd had a different brand previously, but left it in a rental car. I do like this one better. The magnet, while strong, isn't as strong as the previous holder...and I REALLY had a struggle pulling the phone off. Not with this one!

I bought 2 and it works well for Samsung Note 10 (slim case) but not for Motto Play (thicker case).
