I needed a case fan for an old micro ATX build. I used this as an exhaust as no space for a front one and if you are only going to have one case fan an exhaust is the best option as the vacuum it creates by sucking out hot air will naturally draw fresh cool air into the vacuum. No led lights but wasn't interested in that as a solid case. It has a temperature probe cable that you can affix using some tape to the inside of the case or even a small cable tie to an existing cable - I wouldn't leave it hanging incase it dropped into a fan and caused damage. The beauty is this is a pwm fan so in your bios you can adjust what speed the fan operates and at what temperature and also it can send the bios high temperature warnings. Runs very efficiently and at high speed pretty much silent. Good solid product and comes with screws. Exceeded my expectations and will use this brand again. Also, doesn't use alot of PSU power and also has a 3 pin connector which will connect to 4 pin headers on your mobo fine, just align the retention clip part to the header of you're unsure which pin to exclude when attaching to the 4 pin header. All good, really pleased, good bit of kit.

This PC Case Fan by Arctic was one of the most important and easiest projects or upgrades that I've done to my PC Tower Computer Case..!! Great Speed, Excellent Cooling and the Airflow are all very impressive.. Also, the Noise level is very low (well, that is I couldn't really hear it - except that I could feel the air coming out of the back of the Case like a Jet Plane going at 'Mach 3'..!!) The Fit is perfect ... And at only £5.84 it was a Bargain - I'm so glad I bought one... Quiet in operation while still providing great air flow, daisy chainable cable could be shorter

The Mars Gaming case was getting hot and had no exhaust fan so I bought this Arctic 80mm one and it works great. You can really feel the hot air being exhausted out of the back of the system. Recommended. Easy to install with my Linus Tech Tips screwdriver. No rgb 80mm fans anywhere on amazon.

Very effective fan to replace the typical OEM/stock grade fans. Temperature control and silent operations in standard working conditions (browsing, office, everyday tasks) are greatly improved and, if really under load, the PWM speed control will push the fan to a speed that really pulls in a lot of airflow. Not very expensive either, so a win-win. Please note that there are no accessories like Y cables or the like. If you need those, better to look for Noctua for example

Regarding longevity, time will tell. However at least for now it does what it is supposed to do - nice and quiet and increases speed as temperature rises. For those wanting to know, mine consumed around 7mA, 0.008W with the sensor cool and 71mA, 0.85W when hot. BUT: The temperature sensor was obviously added as an afterthought to an existing design, and here is the problem - the groove in the support leg from the motor unit to the outer part of the housing is not deep enough to house the extra cable for the sensor which then sits proud of the surface. If you want to use it as an intake fan, although cosmetically poor, this is not an issue as the cable will be on the side remote from the equipment casing but if you want to use it as an extract fan it will not sit flat against your equipment casing! Unfortunately I need an extract fan, leaving me with no option but to either fit a washer on each mounting point and hence create an albeit small, but still unwanted, air leakage path or to cut an additional slot in the fan's moulding and re-route the cable to avoid crushing it, as the latter would void the warranty I opted for the former. Update: The review was based on a short bench test to check it worked prior to installation, but when I got around to actually fitting it I noted that the fan location is designed to precisely accommodate a 25mm thick fan with no gap, so no space for fitting washers, thus I would have needed to modfy the fan and void its warranty, hence I returned it for a refund.

These are good. The screws it comes with less so. Very soft metal that burrs very easily and how hard could it be to have pre-threaded holes on the fan body at this stage anyway? A rub of candle wax on the edge of the screws helped.

Los he usado oara un radiador de 240mm de perfil bajo en push and pull y los he configurado para que lleguen hasta un 65% de RPM que es donde es 0% molesto dentro de la caja del PC, cuando llega al 70% empieza a notarse y al 80% empieza a ser algo molesto, si vas a usar mas de uno no recomiendo pasar de ahi y asi te aseguras una vida util mas larga. no tienen una presión tan alta como los colermaster que hay por aqui pero en pack sale mucho mas a cuenta. Resumiendo para el precio cumplen con creces, no son ruidosos ni los mejores pero cumplen, son baratos y se agradece mucho poder imstalarlos en cadena con un solo cable porque tiemen macho y hembra oara conectar el siguiente, yo conecté 6 con un solo cable.
