My granddaughter has started her first professional job as a high school counselor, at a school whose mascot is (for some reason) the kangaroo. [The school is about as far as you can get from Australia without entering orbit.]When she began, I gave her two gifts. One was this cute stuffed kangaroo, for her good days at work. For her bad days I gave her kangaroo jerky.She laughed until tears came.

My son had had this thing for almost 20 years. It was given to him when he was a newborn. (His name is Joey) The trick to keeping the baby with it was to put some velcro on the baby and in the pouch.

My 2 year old has an interest in kangaroos, so I thought this would be a good little toy for him. He really enjoys the kangaroo and take it along with him. It is a little smaller than I had expected, but it seems well made and has so far held up well.

I gave this with the board book POUCH! (via Amazon) to my granddaughter for her 2nd birthday. We'd been talking and reading about kangaroos for a few months -- also jumping like kangaroos. This little stuffed animal, which is the perfect size to show to a 2 year old what a kangaroo looks like, is a wonderful cuddly companion to the POUCH! book.

This is adorable! Soft and a great size for toddlers.Unfortunately, the description does not include the fact that the baby is sewn in so you cannot remove it. This might be a great safety factor for little ones, but a huge disappointment if your child is expecting to play with this like a normal kangaroo set.I realize after the fact that people mentioned this in the questions, but buyers shouldn’t have to scroll through questions, it should be mentioned in the product description.Otherwise cute, but now going to buy a standard set where the baby can be removed.

It’s adorable. Great quality! The little baby in the mom’s pouch is so cute! My daughter loves it!
