Review on 2 Cimo and 1 Incipio case...
I had originally purchased the "Moto X Pure Edition (Moto X Style) Case, Cimo [Matte] Premium Slim Fit Flexible TPU Cover for Motorola Moto X Style / Pure Edition - Blue", which I also gave a 5 star review (my husband loves his), but it was a bit too slippery on the back for me as I have very small hands and the Moto X is a rather large phone. I felt I needed something with better grip. As a side note, I also ordered the "Incipio Impact Absorbing, Octane Case for Moto X Pure Edition/Moto X Style - Retail Packaging - Smoke/Cyan" , which was very nice, had good grip on the sides, but VERY slippery on the back. Today I received the new Cimo case, and it is perfect! Nice and slim, adding minimal bulk to the phone, but has great grip! Sadly, I only wished I would have ordered it first, but didn't because of the color choices (didn't really care for black or clear)! I will say all 3 of these cases are an excellent fit, add minimal bulk, the cutouts are placed well and the buttons all work well. Depending on your preferences, you won't go wrong with any of them, but for me the grip was very important, so this case proved to be the best choice.

Perfect fit, good grip, minimalist design
Unlike the other cases I've tried for the 2015 Moto X Pure, this case is a perfect fit. Very thin and adds the minimal amount of additional bulk - I would be shocked if you could find another case that is as minimal as this one. For example, the raised lip on the front is just a sliver higher than the speaker grills - the absolute minimum you would need to keep any portion of the front of the phone from touching the surface when laying the phone flat on its face. In short, if you are looking for a minimalist case with a perfect fit and good grip, this is a great choice.

Works for me.
Simple, effective smartphone case that fits. So many cases! Which one fits my Moto X pure XT1575? Motorola doesn't make phone cases so it's up to a 3rd party choice and this case does exactly what I need it to do.The reason I need a case is because when holding this phone, I accidently start apps located on the perimeter of the large screen with my fingers or I accidently turn the volume off/on because I press the button when handling the phone. So frustrating that I keep on turning off/on the volume and this case adds the outside edge extra cushion that solves these issues. It proves extra grip for a firm hand hold. I recommend this case.

Solid performance for grip and mild bumps
Nice tactile feel, good grip, easy to attach, and does not add too much additional size to an already somewhat large device. It was a worthwhile change and was delivered just as promised - quite satisfied. This replaced the Unicorn Beetle case which I found deficient in a few areas: added excessive bulk to the device, The cell-to-cover fit was not sufficient to inspire trust that the cover would not unexpectedly detach, and the secondary piece that supports the belt clip added too much depth. In addition, I did not feel confidant that the case connections would survive a casual hit or the vibration of a run to catch a cab. This case performs its limited tasks (grip, mild protection from bumps, and offset to keep the screen away from table/etc. surfaces) very well - and you can depend on it for all of those tasks.

Good grip, very slim, but terrible buttons. *updated*
UPDATE (March 17, 2017): I came back to update my review after going back and forth between this case and the the Diztronic and have decided that this is the better case (after modification)* of the two because it offers superior grip and is somewhat slimmer which makes it much easier to handle the large MXPE. I was prompted to update my review and have changed the rating from 3 to 4 stars because this case saved my MXPE from a nasty drop while I was biking tonight. I was going at a decent speed when the phone mount the MXPE was attached to suddenly unlocked and flung the phone onto the pavement. The case sustained some very minor scuffs on the edges and left my phone unscathed and fully functional.* I used an X-Acto knife to cut slits on both sides of the buttons to make them more click-able and tactile, the mod does not make the buttons as satisfying to press as the mechanism on the Diztronic case but it did make a significant improvement from the solid plastic design on this case. If you plan on doing this and have some money to burn, go ahead and order 2 of these cases as you will probably screw up your first attempt. My original review is below if you want to waste some time.Original Review (longform):This case is extremely slim, probably the slimmest case besides those snap on covers that provide minimal to no protection. I will be judging the case on four categories: Grip, form, looks, and functionality.Grip: 9/10The grip on this case is quite good. It is not as grippy as a Speck Candyshell grip case, but it is the best grip option I have found for the MXPE without it being a large chunky case.Form: 7/10This case is extremely thin and the material is a bit of a harder but flexible plastic rather than a softer TPU material. I do not feel too confident about drop protection but it should handle general day to day protection.Looks: 6/10In real life the look of the case is not quite as obnoxious as in the advert photo but it could be better. The cutouts are fairly off-center but my MXPE has a black back so it is less noticeable. Not much of an issue in my opinion, but if this is something you care about, there are cleaner looking cases than this. (The Diztronic MXPE case for example).Functionality: 1/10The buttons on this case are horrendous and that is the sole reason I cannot give it a better review. My only solution (besides pressing down with your fingers perpendicular to the buttons - with a lot of force mind you) is to cut out the buttons with an exacto knife so you can just use the phone's buttons naked. This is not a very easy process and you will have to do quite a lot of cutting to make it work but it is probably doable. *read update*Update: I used an X-Acto knife to cut out the buttons on my first Cimo Grip case and the result was pretty bad. While it made it possible to press the buttons of the device directly it looked terrible and did not feel intuitive when looking for each button without looking at the case. I then practiced cutting the buttons on a full matte Cimo case I had also purchased and discovered that cutting slits on either side of the button bumps allows for them to be pressed easily and have a clicky tactile response, this fix however is not included in the original product so the 3 star rating remains. If the buttons were not an issue I would rate this case 4 stars for the reasons listed above and the reason listed below.Another thing I discovered while using the Cimo grip case and the Diztronic is that the Diztronic does a somewhat better job of protecting your hand from the heat generated by the Moto X Pure (this phone heats up a bit more than most phones from my experience with two different units). For this I have to leave the rating at a hypothetical 4 stars if the buttons were not an issue before being fixed.I have attached a few images of the Diztronic case as well but here is a link to the full Diztronic review, a case that I recommend over this one, unless you want maximum slimness, very mild protection, and don't mind fiddling with the buttons:https://www.amazon.com/review/RECANTMX1V4Q9/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm Moto X Pure Case, Diztronic Full Matte Slim-Fit Flexible TPU Case for Motorola Moto X Pure Edition & Moto X Style (2015) - Black - (MPR-FM-BLK)

Nice secure case for Moto X Pure
Cover was purchased to provide a secure grip on a Moto X Pure phone. The phone without a case did not feel safe in my hand. The phone does not want to slip out of my hand with this case. The cuts-outs needed for the phones features provide adequate clearance. There is enough lip on the case so you can place your phone with the screen down. The long vertical edges of the case, along the screen's face could be stiffer. Not sure how well the case will protect the phone if dropped on the edge.
